Jaywalking the World - Episode 96 - "Clean"

Every now and again, whether you like it or not, your boat has to come out of the water and this was my boat to turn. My friend Robert recommended this small boat yard down the south of Malta. I was very, very happy with the work that they did, and would recommend them to anyone. Link below.

The anodes are there to stop the electrolis dissolving the sterngear prop shaft etc so the anodes dissolve instead

That's a dream deal to redo your anti fouling. My boat yard in netherlands indicated about E20K to redo mine on a 10.5 steel cruiser

Oh jeez. I'm sure if you look around you will find a better deal. At that rate it will be cheaper to Transport your boat to Malta, have it on here, and then transfer it back. :)

Looking at the propeller on your starboard side I am surprised you didn't feel any vibrations whilst under way. Will you be getting these repaired. How did your anodes fair after three years underwater?

This might sound a little silly, but I forgot that bit before the boat went back in. I've not noticed any vibration, so I don't really mind. Silly me. I don't know that the anodes were new when I bought here, but they were 90% shot when we replaced them.

Yep clean hull will always improve efficiency prop shaft etc

Your props are bent STB lower blade 10,00 , LOOK , you can DIY its a lot cheaper

Yeah, one of the blades has a small bend.
