- Telugu Ganga Project is a boon for Rayalaseema Region. Initially the scope of project is only to supply drinking water to Madras ( Chennai ) in Tamilnadu.
Later on the project was redesigned to meet the need of Rayalaseema Region. So this project was executed on cost sharing basis by Tamilnadu & Andhra Pradesh( TN & AP ).

Thanks for taking your time in reading the comments. Due to several geographical conditions and power grid estimates at that time, Telangana region was not benefited by TGP and it was not any intentional move. Later on we have seen Lift Irrigation schemes are being build on TS side to benefit the upland regions of TS

రాజోలి బండ దగ్గర తెలంగాణ దిక్కు నీరు రాకుండా చేసి, రాయల సీమ రౌడీలతో బాంబులు పెట్టించి తలుపులు పగలు గొట్టించి నీటిని దోచుకోవడం ఎం వరకు సబబు. ఎక్కడో ఉన్న మద్రాసు దాక నీటిని తరలించారు, కాని నది పక్కను న్న మహబూబ్ నగర్ జిల్లా కు సాగు నీరు రాలేదు, ఆ మహబూబ్ నగర్ జిల్లా వాసులు వలసలు పోయి బ్రతుకుట ఎట్లా మంచిది!
We understand the feelings...But at the time of design of project, there were no scope /technology/facilities for lift irrigation to irrigate uplands of Mahabubnagar. Later Lift Irrigation schemes are serving the region.

TG project waters is less utilised for Anantapur, kadapa and Chittoor districts, which is insufficient, to be increased.
Sri satya sai baba given 300 crores to this project at that time 🙏.
His contribution to the project was a great financial drive to the project progress .

Wrong perception brother !! Infact Under ground water increases due to flow of canal. Intermittent areas are well benefitted and details of reservoirs and aycut are explained in the video.

For not all telugus , it’s curse for Telangana region
Its no where a curse to Telangana region as each government is entitled to draw its allocated share by the Tribunal.
Engineer Anil yes but after satisfying Krishna basin needs can transfer to penna basin but things quite opposite here , may be boon for Rayalaseema Nellore but big curse for Telangana
@@chaitulion2672 A Project cannot address all the irrigation problems of a state. It all depends on ground topography. Due to high level terrain, its not possible to divert water via gravity to uplands of telangana region. However subsequent lift irrigation schemes are available for mahabubnagar and the allocation of water depends on the tribunal.
Engineer Anil oh really I know that , that the reason storage should be there in Srisailam to lift for some months in telangna Krishna basin , but it diverting to penna basin , my point is Telugu Ganga is for rayalaseema only nothing to do with telangnan it curse for Telangana
@@chaitulion2672 This is where you need to understand the concept of gravity irrigation & lift irrigation. When the design of TGP has done.. There was no projects related to Lift Irrigation Technology. And Times Passed New Lift irrigation schemes are serving the Telangana region. It will not be a curse to telanagna region even now as allocation of water resources is under the tribunal.
It is not a boon for Rayalaseema region. All water goes to Chennai. All this happened because of bloody NTR. Our water is going to chennai

AP is being benefited by irrigation & TN is benefited by drinking water supply

This project betrayed telangana people
This was a several decade old project. At times there was no lift irrigation schemes and diverting water to districts of Telangana is not practical as they are upsale places. Even with todays secenario, you might have see how expensive Kaleswaram Project is and how far from realistic scenarios.

Its a Common inter state Project - As a priority basis drinking waster has to be supplied first. Even in our reservoirs, water in surplus of drinking water shall be allocated to irrigation facilities.
