      @iluvmyboba Před 2 měsíci

      In Hollywood they associate that with "range and depth". I remember being around 16 watching a few scenes from "Less Than Zero" with Robert Downey Jr. He portrayed young man addicted to drugs that caused his life to go on a downward spiral. To the point where he began prostituting himself to his dealer and other men. The scene where his friends look for him and find him on his knees verging on oral sex with a man absolutely creeped me out. And it wasn't long after that where RDJ was in court telling a judge about his own struggles with addiction. It's not art in the slightest. It's the depravity of an over sexualized industry. Period. They enjoy seeing up and coming young men in that position under the guise of diversity and range. When it's nothing but perversity in its purest form.

    I am a fan of this kid's work as a child actor and respect his integr. It's just a damn shame that the movie industry is parallel to the music industry. Once you become aware of the exploitation and push back against it the powers that be deem you not useful. Unfortunately this interview will make it tougher for him to get back in in a major way unless they can get him to go against everything he stated in this video.

      Moonlight was huge and won a bunch of awards, I do believe it was that movie and they would've paid him that much

    • @Kingonehero
      @Kingonehero Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@blackbrew78 the awards the movie received afterwards are irrelevant. Moonlight only had a budget of 1.5 million. Which makes it a low budget film. That’s not a lot of money to spit up. There’s no way any of the actors received that much money. Not even the star

    • @blackbrew78

      @@blackbrew78 ok time to use your common sense. How could the producers of an indie film promise actors money IN CONTRACT that they didn’t have? What if the movie was a flopped?
