Morals over money will always be a W in my book
STR 8 MF FACTS
me too i have my own morals but heterosexuality dont have morality and that can be seen in all heterosexual animals when it decide to kill other animals instead to eat green ween etc
Actors are storytellers - EVERY story must be told.
@@ArtistMgmtATL right. But some people aren’t willing to play every role offered to them, which is understandable.
Massive Truth.
Period Bobby! He rather hustle hard than compromise his integrity!
What does playing a gay character have to do with integrity? Black men have been so beaten down so long they don't know what integrity is. That's why every race surpasses black people.
Integrity? Have you seen the movies he done?
BobbE 😅 sir
Moonlight has entered the comment-section
Moonlight came out in 2016. Don't think it was that one because he would've been an adult, and I don't believe he was relevant at that time either...
Could had been Dear White People, I’m not trying to make it bout race but in one role a child star did play a in the closet shy guy that does a kissing scene bobby was probably 19 or 20 could had been that one
@@JustTarvishe said it was his later teen years they offer him that role. 8 years ago he was 19/20. Remember the kid played a teenager around the age of 16-19. It could be that movie and plus he always looked younger than what he actually was.
The movie is, Moonlight. It won a lot of awards.
The performances of Mahershala Ali and Naomie Harris, both Black Americans, in Moonlight were critically acclaimed and nominated for Academy Awards, with Ali winning.
Hollywood was backing that movie hard.

Where are you guys from great integrity and morals 👍👍.
The movie is Moonlight.
Moonlight won a lot of awards.
The movie dealt with the difficulties the main character faces with his homosexual lifestyle, sexuality and identity, including the physical and emotional abuse he endures growing up.
It is definitely Moonlight.
Hollywood was backing this movie hard in the black community.
If that really was the movie, then for a movie like that, dealing with specific experiences and perspectives, it should really have actual gay actors anyway, in the main roles, at least.
That’s the first movie that came to mind
That was the first movie that came to mind.
I never saw that b.s
If he was looking for an opportunity for growth on his career, it would have been a role like that..Moonlight won a Best Picture Oscar, and could have given him the boost he so desperately wanted..
"Career reaching a certain height" 😂😂😂 you walked right into that one 😅

I don't think he's not saying the name of the movie because he may still want to work with the people in the future. I wouldn't tell either.
so what's the point of talking about it if you still want to work with the same people?
@@s.n.9485 He's being interviewed. He answered the question he was asked. He just didn't provide the name of the movie. Actors turn down roles all the time. Sometimes, you'll hear years later that they did. Often, they'll end up working with those same people later. He's trying to avoid insulting someone he may be able to work with in the future. It's called not burning bridges.

they always trying to pay ppl to play gay instead of just paying actual gay ppl to play them
Exactly It baffles me every time
Some people aren’t fragile in their masculinity and don’t have an issue with it. Also do you understand how much of a niche group that is + not every gay person has acting range.
@Wizardkelly808 we get it, you gay. Why would a straight man be kissing another man for a movie? Yall so simple minded and lost, HE IS STILL KISSING A MAN! Not everyone is with that sick lifestyle.
In Hollywood they associate that with "range and depth". I remember being around 16 watching a few scenes from "Less Than Zero" with Robert Downey Jr. He portrayed young man addicted to drugs that caused his life to go on a downward spiral. To the point where he began prostituting himself to his dealer and other men. The scene where his friends look for him and find him on his knees verging on oral sex with a man absolutely creeped me out. And it wasn't long after that where RDJ was in court telling a judge about his own struggles with addiction. It's not art in the slightest. It's the depravity of an over sexualized industry. Period. They enjoy seeing up and coming young men in that position under the guise of diversity and range. When it's nothing but perversity in its purest form.
@@Wizardkelly808well then simply dont write parts that are gay if u dont have a gay person for the role
Facts this brother has a good soul he never sold his soul 4 money and fame 💯💯💪stay strong B your blessings will come Sir
You gotta respect his decision, but don't whine about being trapped as a former child star, and not getting work, It's roles like that that help you break out..🤔
@@edreid7872nah is plenty of gay actors that are praying for this role. But you want to give it to somebody straight! Same way they do the Indian or the Spanish actors, they get a fake one instead of a real one.
This young man just defined integrity in action 🎬 pun intended

What’s up with Hollywood want black people to play gay roles and wear dress and stuff
I know right?! Like, there are so many good stories that don't need all that extra weird stuff
Right?! So many gay actors why ask a straight man to do something so uncomfortable?
These Demons work day and night to destroy us period.
It's called "buck breaking". They were trying to emasculate him.

Before I even finish watching this, I’m pausing to comment , time stamp 1:25. Bobby, bruh I have seen you in a very long time on the acting scene, and as a huge fan, I just want to say, bruh you’re naturally a highly talented actor! I hope you read the comments to know how much currently you have a strong fan base. Now everyone knows how the movie, music, radio, let’s just say the media Industry play’s so dirty, the whole world knows now what you all have to face and decide how to play your hand or what you’re willing to deal with to get your fair share of wealth. Anyway stay true to yourself and take from there, how to move. You’re a genius bruh on that acting set, lights camera 🎥 action!
Good interview.
It appears that these actors are offered questionable roles when you’re in between work.
We know who holds the keys in that industry 😏
THAT PART💯💯💯
It is so sad that as a young man, he is still traumatized and hurt and needs healing. I believe what he is saying. Many of us can relate to people that we admired, let us down or hurt us. He can still have an outstanding career moving forward if he wants. If it was Tracy, if I remember correctly, he has been through some serious life events. Treat people well
I am always for actors turning down roles they know it shouldn't be meant for them. I can never blame an actor for taking a role just for the bag, but there is always consequences and regrets.
Why do everybody keep on saying I got nothing but the utmost respect for the lgbtq😂 I don't because they're spreading their agenda to children😂 and that's a fact
So you hate gay people?
Then the parents who let their children become influenced by it at young age are at fault.
Those people probably feel the same way, but they feel like they have to throw their support behind the movement to avoid cancellation
Man please if somebody is straight they’re gonna be straight, if they’re gay they’re gonna be gay. All this “agenda” talk is silly
@@TalkinnGrubbinMediawhat?! Parents have to go to work for a living , at least most do. So speaking like this makes absolutely no sense when parents can’t watch their children 24 hours a day. Good For him to still not regret turning that down.
I am a fan of this kid's work as a child actor and respect his integr. It's just a damn shame that the movie industry is parallel to the music industry. Moonlight was the movie to everyone in the comments saying it wasn't, moonlight really opened the door for everybody that cast in it because they each went on to be in multiple big movies.
