The title of Rebalanced doesn't do this mod justice. This is seriously an incredible feat of modding and feels like it will be the definitive way to play Halo 2. So excited to play it!
Now getting praise from rejected has got to feel good. Love you both for what you guys do for the Halo community
You, Ruby, and the rest of the Halo Modding Community have done a banger job providing quality content.
How does it not make it justice if you haven’t even player it
This mod is at the level of an official remake/remastered and I mean that.
New vehicles, enemy models, cut dialogue, polished cinematics, new animations, new weapons, new enemies, new scenarios and MUCH MORE.
The best of all is that it remains FAITHFUL to the original Halo 2 and its essence.
Applause to you and your team ruby.

2:30 the ability for the Flood to infect dead bodies in-game is sick. I wonder if the same will be done for live NPCs like in Halo 3? That is one thing the SPV3 mod did that I liked
I would have loved to see infection in real time like Halo 3, but i think that there are engine limitations. Still hope for brute flood combat form 🛐 🙏
Unfortunately, @@TheHutDave is correct. Only pre-placed bodies can be infected, but it's cool that Ruby was able to figure out how to make it work on non-Flood corpses!

We may be off by months, but I can't think of a better way to celebrate 20 years of Halo 2. I can't believe it's been that long. Halo 2 is the first game I ever looked up trailers for on the internet before CZcams was even a thing. THAT'S how old we've gotten. Thank you Ruby for adding extra polish to one of my favorite game series ever made. Feels like I'm playing Halo for the first time all over again.

Health packs, new cutscenes, voice lines, new enemies. You've outdone yourself and breathed new life into a game 2 decades old at this point.

Man I teared up. That last bit on Two Betrayals with the Marines dug in and holding the Control Room terrace. The chief flies past them in the banshee and it gives the Marines as a character a final curtain call as they salute Chief one last time. Played it campaign Co Op with my brother I grew up playing CE with and it felt like being a kid in 2001 again.
This is not a rebalance, this is a reimagination
Ruby has finally done what I've been waiting for. Something that has bugged me ever since i laid eyes on the Warthog on the box art of Halo CE. A detail that is so small that it has been looked over since 2001.

I LOVE the blur cutzcenes, but as far as im concerned, THIS is the true H2 anniversary
This will be the definitive way to play Halo 2. I don't think this will be coming out anytime soon so in the meantime, Halo 2 with Sprinkles remains King.

The idea of using the Brute/Elite honour guard spears is so damn cool. Also these cut voice lines are awesome! No idea why they cut Cortana saying 'there's no human life signs on board!'. It makes In Amber Clad so much more menacing knowing the thousands of human crew members are all infected.
Can't wait to see the Flood ambience and horror, in your CE rebalance that was the best part was how damn creepy it was.
After seeing your work on the streams and talking to SEV in the Halo Mods Discord VC, MAN I am so excited to see this in it's full glory!

This honestly looks like a damn solid way to revisit Halo 2. The return of CE's health system replacing the regenerating health in base already looks set to change the way the game is played.
