Two of my exes always text me when they meet somebody new, to check in to see if I want to give them another chance before they start hanging out with someone else. And check in with me every few months while they’re in those relationships. So men are really opportunistic like that.

I heard this in another book, you have to let them come to you. If you look at them, etc, show interest, whatever and they then do it it might be just that they are pleased that you’re interested and if it goes down the drain or whatever you basically artificially created this by not allowing him to do it. You might not be his type type but you’ll do for now and he will leave you eventually for his real type. So ladies let them come to you so you don’t get hurt or taken advantage of afterwards.
