    Something a lot of people are sleeping on is the role of Zunesha in the opening of Wano. Whether its breaking down the walls, or simply draining the centuries of rainwater, Zunesha is absolutely vital to the uncovering of Pluton. It was pretty much confirmed in chapter 1052 when one of the Gorosei responded to "Zou is gone" with "Then they are NOT opening up the country".

      Also if I remember correctly, Momo said to zounesha that he’s not gonna open Wano just yet and Zunesha left. Opening Wano is probably related to Momo ordering zunesha to do something that why Momo said he must stay alive after reading oden’s journal

      and it makes sence as to why momo decided not to open just yet, doing so now would only bring the whole of the world government to your door as that would be an imediate threat. so its best to wait untill they have a proper plan in place

      I also think that they simply attached it with a rope and kept letting it into the water and pulling it up again.
      The other topic is how did Oden manage that. It's a cave. You can't get in there from the outside. Unless you poke a hole in it. But it also means that the cave would immediately fill with water, which is not the case.
      So that means that he took the normal route like Robin and co.

    According to google, humans can pretty easily achieve 5 km per hour, and Robbin and Law are stronger than ordinary people.
    So even if it is going downstairs, they could probably do it in about an hour, give or take. The real problem is going back up those stairs.
    It would be funny if Law just teleports himself back up to the surface, and Robin has to walk back up the entire way.
    Unless that is one of her clones.
    Then law teleports, and robbin vanishes, leaving the old man to walk back up all alone.

    22:13 It looks like Onigashima is the peak of the second mountain connected to Mt. Fuji.
    Current Wano is located close to the peak of Mt. Fuji, but there's still a significant chunk of it left above. The other peak seems quite a bit shorter though. Short enough to be mistaken for a simple island with a hill in the center.
    I'm guessing Kaido found it uninhabited when he arrived at Wano ~25 years ago, had his crew carve the mountain peak into the shape of his race's (Oni) skull and named it Onigashima (since he believes his own race to be superior to others). The people of Wano probably called it something different before. That's why Marco remembers it by another name.

    I've been researching Japanese mythology for a while and I find it very interesting the similarities of the Wano arc with the 47 Ronin and the Shinto myth of Sengen-Sama which describes her living on a luminous cloud in the crater of Mount Fuji and resides over a healing stream, mind you there are some very creative stretches taken by Oda but Kin'emon is literally one of the real samurai's name buried at Sengaku-ji, while Yamamoto is the name of the buddhist author of the Hagakure, where he criticized their waiting to take revenge. So I'm really interested in what Oda uses as inspiration for the rest of Wano.

    It’s my theory that at some point Oda intended for Ace to be a part of kaidos crew or fight with them or something. Because his name fitting so perfectly with their naming schemes. You’ve got king, then queen, then jack, …and finally ace. Maybe it’s a coincidence but ace does have a lot of ties to wano as we found out.

    I've been battling with this one, but what if Law uses Room to find Pluton, kidnaps Robin and tries to use her to find the one piece. Which would full circle too, cause Robin was the one who warned Luffy about Pirate Alliances

    • @CasualAlbiniAppreciator
      @CasualAlbiniAppreciator Před 2 lety +2

      I'd like to see Law going back to his 4D chess big brain mode like that, but at this point in the story he'd be completely fucked (bar an SH fleet analogue asspull reveal) :/ Luffy has more capable fighters than he does, with haki that'd make it hard for him to use Ope Ope no Mi effectively (especially since the DF is taxing on his stamina in 1v1, in 5v1 he'd be wrecked pronto), whole fleet to use if push comes to shove, not to mention Robin would probably just casually fist him from inside to assert dominance. Cool as it'd be, I'd expect Kid to do sth like that, not Law. Kid's just way more impulsive and bent on being on the top even if he's risking everything, Law is basically an honorary SH at this point even though SHs piss him off all the time

    • @mariophreak
      @mariophreak Před 2 lety

      @@CasualAlbiniAppreciator You're forgetting one key factor. Law would have Pluton, at that point all bets are off. depending on what that ship is capable of it could easily be enough to turn the tides in Law's favor.

    • @CasualAlbiniAppreciator
      @CasualAlbiniAppreciator Před 2 lety +1

      @@mariophreak theoretically yeah - thing is he'd need to open borders of Wano, which as far as we know requires a force at least approaching the power of Zunesha, using shambles to displace Pluton outside Wano could conceivably kill him - his stamina is said to be drained more than Kid's and Luffy's when using his DF iirc (though to be fair he's not as suited to be a frontline heavy fighter as they are and he stood his ground far more than during Doffy fight). And we still don't know all stipulations to awaken Pluton. Not impossible, but to me it would just be out of the blue at this time. But assuming he would do that, you are probably right

    Late to the party but has anyone ever noticed the similarities between Wano and Water 7? The way they both dealt with floods and build a wall around their island(multiple in W7 case), also making the people that lived there moved closer to the core of the island and the fact the Pluton is connected to both islands. Maybe someday Iceberg will relocate Galley-La company to Wano.

    Even with the borders closed, new wano is located at the top so anyone wishing to enter will need to take a bondola or fly somehow. I think the real problems would be that people of Wano would not be able to leave and people from overseas would settle on the old Wano, on top of that Pluton would be released.

    It makes sense that the ancient wano was home to ancient giants. With things like the numbers being created from old dna, zunesha having some significance and relation to wano and obviously minks and joyboy. Then we have the fact that wano and it's walls were likely made by giants and that might be tied into the world government wanting giantification. Shirahoshi is giant, so was Noah and so will be Pluton probably. Now Nika having the abilities like being giant, Elbaf coming up. There's definitely more hints than that, like during Skypiea are there lore references and connections to giants and wano?

    Idk if it’s just me but the whole unleashing Pluton to break down the walls of Wano to be more open to the world could be a reference to actual history. It was the US that brought a battleship to Japan and strong armed them into open up for trade with the rest of the world. Pluton being a battleship which could destroy an island in one shot would make a lot of sense with the fear back in the day of how much firepower was brought for the “trade”. What do you folks think?
