MOUNT KINABALUㅣrainy season (2:30AM hike, rocky roads, giant red leech, altitude sickness)

HI FRIENDS, let me walk you through what climbing Mount Kinabalu is like. It was one hell of a journey! It takes 2 days 1 night to reach the peak (Low's peak), and I'm telling you, phhuuewww it ain't easy, but it was surely something I'm happy I did. The view at the peak was breathtaking! Not to mention, the sky full of stars at night ⭐
The first day was tiring but the second day was scary. We started hiking at 2:30am and I experienced altitude sickness just 10 minutes after we started hiking, I was running out of breath, feeling dizzy and nauseous. But thankfully, when I started breathing heavily (like a tired dog), I felt so much better and managed to climb to the peak.
The hike down was tiring, but I had a good laugh watching everyone suffer their way down 😂
