I was driving through town and noticed this severe overgrown grass with bushes blocking the sidewalk. I stopped by and asked if I could mow and if the city has gave him any trouble. The Elderly Man mentioned no but laughed and I ran across someone else who was living in the house and he mentioned there were multiple fines.
We spent about 6 hours on this property helping this Elderly Man and it turned out really well. We were approached by some people in the community that recognized us and they were shocked we were in town.

His neighbor totally impressed me! Finally a neighbor actually had nice things to say about this gentleman and pitched in to help. Great work by everyone! I know how hopeless and helpless a person feels when they can't do things like they used to. I'm 78 and my loss of balance and pain have substantially gotten worse. I can't believe how bad the last few years have taken this toll on me. Congrats to each and every one of you!
I can understand that! At 66 I have an incurable blood disease and the chemo they have me on keeps me so tired I can’t even keep up with my house work! Prayers for you!

That invasive trumpet vine growing on the fence is a rampant grower. Hard to control. Will all grow back in no time. The homeowner gets a reprieve for a while from the city thanks to you and all that hard work cleaning up that property.
