Hi loving your podcast. I am also new to knitting but have found sock knitting and love it. I followed the crazy sock lady on you tube she does fabulous tutorials using all different needles I found that I am better using dpns. I hope this helps. Have a fab trip.
I hope you had an amazing time. I did a double take when i heard you say Isle of Bute, don't here it mentioned much, I grew up there and absolutly love it. My parents have recently opened a cottage out as a B&B on the island. I truly hope to get back one day and take my kids to see it.
Hope you have a wonderful trip to Scotland. I have only ever knit socks cuff down, with a heel flap and heel turn. It sounds much more daunting than it is, and I find that the fit is fabulous. My plans for the emotional support chicken have been revived now you’ve mentioned it (I love the yarns you have chosen!) and I already have the pattern. Jinny
Happy holiday to you! For your cuff down socks you can use the short row heel that you have already mastered so that would be an easy intro, but I started cuff down with a heel flap and it's not hard, you can do it!
Have a great time in Scotland. I love it that I am not the only one that takes lots of projects with them on holiday and also visits yarn shops!
Another lovely podcast - thank you ❤️ Love the red top you've made - very clever. Nice haircut! Enjoy your holiday 😀

Enjoying your videos! Have a great trip too 😊
Cannot wait to see your Omelette which will be great in those yarns! (Feeling very envious of your trip plans.)
