Freddie Burns encouraging Hal to hit the driver on #18 at TPC Sawgrass was some great caddying...Freddie Burns is one of the best caddies of all time.
Had the pleasure of serving Mr. Sutton and his family at a fine dining establishment yesterday. He told us his stories and about his new facility in Columbus. Such a class act and an honor to meet him. Cheers Mr. Sutton!
The man has been caddie-ing for 60 years! God bless you Freddie, you have the right attitude. And God bless the Sutton family too.
Hal Sutton is my great uncle in law!!! Love him so much 💚
Great story 👍 Freddie laughing like a kid,luv it
What a great story about Freddie, he was so grateful for the help in the beginning of his caddie career, but it was his hard work and love for the game and faith in his players that made him so successful and kept him working for so long.
Ive busted some tears in my life, but boy this one was a tear jerker.
What a story.
This is so cool . deserves many more views . such an awesome story
This is so great. I had no idea he was still caddying. Great tribute!
I grew up in Shreveport, La. and ran into Freddie in the neighborhood barbershop as a kid. He was always impressive guy to me and to those who lived in the community. Great role model.
Nothing better than hitting a clean shot and saying “Be the right club, be the right club today!”
When you know it’s pure and flying right at it, pure bliss
What a beautiful story.
What a great story. I never knew how they connected. Awesome! 🙏🏽
I'm bawling - epic clip. Saw that Sutton was on Fore Play and came across this - thank you!
Hal has a Podcast that you might like, Be the Right Club Today.
Found it, I'm in, thank you, Scott. Appropriately titled, for sure. One of the best moments in golf's rich history - always get fired up from watching that shot and the joyous low-five w/ Freddy.
You're welcome a great listen!
A world populated with people like Freddie would be a perfect world. All people need is an opportunity. God has enriched us all with a talent and Freddie found his thru the Sutton's. God bless America!
