Although they were abusive to all the children, rumor spread that the kid was their only favorite out of the bunch Not only that, but before the woman drove off the cliff, she drugged every single child in that car by putting Benadryl in their sandwiches. The reason isn’t actually unknown based on Nick Crowley’s video, the kids were actually being abused however Jennifer Hart would post heart-warming, light hearted content of her family to make the people around her think she had the perfect happy family. The kids were forced to make these videos. Sometimes she wouldn’t feed them, a couple of kids would scavenge their neighbor’s garbage. At first their children went to school but their peers and teachers kept reporting bruises so they pulled the children out of school which I think lead cps or social services to start trying to find them so they’d move away until Jennifer decided to end it all by killing herself, her wife and their adopted children. The most crazy thing about this is that Devonte seemed to be the golden or star child, the favorite and his body has never been found. We don’t know what exactly happened to him but a few people hope that Jennifer and her wife let him live but some think that he was killed before Jennifer crashed the car. Now I don’t know if any of these theories about what happened to Devonte have any evidence but just know the cause wasn’t unknown. Jennifer and her wife just didn’t wanna go to jail for child abuse because that would break the image of their perfect, happy family to all their friends and family. By the way, all the loved ones of these two women have spoken and they believe it was an accident. Jen’s plan of posting photos and videos and making the kids pretend it was all fine worked. They can’t believe that Jen would do that. This case just makes me so surprised and angry and also sad. What was so infuriating about this is that one of these kids (idk which one I can’t remember which) went to the neighbors and begged them to not return them to their parents only for the neighbor to return them to the parents. I’d at least call cps or something before giving that kid back to the parents. It might be fake but what if it’s not?
