  • Irish spice bag is a popular fast food meal consisting of potato chips and chicken meat with red, green, and chilli peppers. The dish that is strongly influenced by Asian cuisine was developed in Dublin, Ireland in the 2010s, but its exact origins are still unknown.
    Irish Spice bag is available in Chinese takeaways and chippers, where they are served in paper bags with an accompanying tub of curry. Join us as we attempt to make one!

    This was funny, even before the bloopers! Yum, that looks scrumptious. I've never heard of them!
    I imagine it would be delicious on a plate, in a bag, or wrapped in flat bread!
    Beautiful recipe thanks guys & congratulations on six thousand +

    God! I can remember when the only place to get "exotic" spices in Galway was McCambridges, on Shop Street. I'm so happy variety has come to Ireland.

    I think during covid lockdowns in Ireland most homes became '' fake-away '' cooks... spicebags...banana bread etc. Loving the content guys keep it going 😊

      I'm not sure that's a good think. Usually people from US tell us its more expensive there.
      I hope we're not catching up!

      Thanks for watching! Here’s the original recipe I followed, everything should be there. Just replace chicken with tofu and you are golden.

    This was fantastic. My Dad always loved Soda Bread. My wife would make it for him. Homemade is always better. :) I loved the brown bread in Ireland. But, is soda bread popular in Ireland or no?

    Oh my 😅 the Spice Bag is something I really crave and miss from time to time 😅 and you forgot one very important ingredient - the MSG 🤭 jk.
    Speaking about Lidl, I cross the Swiss/German border to go to Lidl and so do many rich Swiss people too. Lidl rocks! Especially the bakery and organic products! They also have a decent selection of vegan products which I tried out during my “vegan” phase 😅

    • @Corrky
      @Corrky  Před měsícem +1

      I didn't know MSG is part of it. I was following a recipe from another CZcamsr. Here's the link to original video!

    I love a good spice bag but I don't like it with curry sauce. Sometime I will have some sweet and sour sauce instead

    • @Corrky
      @Corrky  Před měsícem +1

      That’s perfectly okay. I’m sure I would like sweet and sour too!
