I know one thing for sure if Carrie was my wife she wouldn't get away with a lot of the 💩 Doug lets her get away with. She would have heard it from me all the way back to when Deacon was having dinner with the friend. Had Carrie been my wife I would have told her if you go running your mouth off to Kelly about this me and you are going to have a problem and you're really not going to like it. Sometimes there are certain things that is none of our concern and we should just stay out of it even if it is our friends.

I allowed myself to be caught up in inappropriate feelings for somebody whom was once in my own life (I didn’t figure out his own intentions until much later), and I can understand how that person’s family must absolutely hate me.

OK. We're skating around some things. Deacon admitted to Kelly about his non-sexual relationship with Angie in Season 3, which caused the initial separation. After balking at going to marriage counseling, when Deacon saw Kelly on a date with Carrie's friend, Bill. It made him realize his stupidity, so he agreed to go back to counseling. By the end of Season 3, Kelly and Deacon were back together. They were still working on things when we got to the Season 4 "Double Downer" episode, when Kelly took the kids and left Deacon.
Kelly should have him a cut of the winnings to make for her tent pole suggestions

22 years ago that tv couple had marital problems, Kelly couldn’t get Deacon to understand her and so she took her two sons to her parents in New Brunswick.

If I said it to them, they'd call be a "white boy"😂. Same thing happened when I started listening to anything but hip hop. So how is it racism when a white person says something similar and it's based on objective reality?

There was nothing wrong with Carrie and Doug's relationship the only problem was Doug let her get away with too much. This would have been one of those times where if Carrie was my woman I would have put her in check right away and told her stay out of it. Because if you go running off your mouth to Kelly about this we are going to have a problem. I'm sorry but Doug was a little bit too much of a child in the relationship when he needed to man up and check his woman when she needed it.
