- BMW M3 full detail (Black Sapphire Metallic F80). I show you all the steps of properly detailing this 2017 BMW M3 both interior and exterior. You will learn how to wash and clean a black car, how to compound and machine polish a black car, and how to make black paint shine and how to protect the paint with a ceramic coating.

In this full detail package, we wash the wheels and tires, the body, decontaminate the paint with an iron remover and a claybar, proceed to a 2-step paint polishing process and protect the paint with a high gloss ceramic coating. We apply a glass sealant for added security when driving in rainy conditions. We detail the interior by vacuuming, cleaning the windows, cleaning and protecting the interior trim, cleaning and moisturizing the leather seats and dusting the air vents and surfaces.
Detailing a black car is the hardest of all colors, as black shows all the defects. However, when done right, black paint can shine like a diamond and give you that deep, rich black gloss we all love!

@@rayjdogsblue for heat trying to make some make-shift shade would be helpful, also getting up extra early with some artificial lights should help, distilled water is also a go to if its hot. but you will need to find and buy a large quantity of distilled water

A typical consumer grade ceramic coating lasts anywhere from 12 to 24 months on average. It helps reduce the chances of swirls but nothing really eliminates that 100%. Safe washing and drying techniques are what help reduce swirls the most.

I clean the interior trim with Chemical Guys All Clean+ diluted 1:20 or CG Inner Clean. To protect and add a matte finish I use CG Silk Shine. To restore a rich black color to faded trim I looooove CarPro PERL.

That thing is dam clean wow.....
LOL Yup! I am obsessed with perfection (as much as can be done of course). I usually try to aim 85-95% correction of the paint. I want a nice deep gloss, like the car is wet. And the interior is also an area where I like to keep everything looking and smelling fresh.
Have you ever had it where right after you finish, you take the car out and it start raining lol.
Oh of course! And then your face changes to the pissed off look! AHAHAHAAH
This car is on my list of obtainable dream cars. Exactly that spec. Stunning.

Pan TheOrganizer, as usual I had just watched Larry detail a blue M, and I started looking at familiar topics and you had post about doing a black car, this caught my eye because as we all know black shows everything. I loved the music and the energy you posses is calming, not too hyped up. Plus you're not pushing any one product. I'm starting to get into wanting to detail but I really want to master the buffer/polisher first.
Where you're at the right channel to learn tips, tricks, techniques and which products work. Pan TheOrganizer well I am detailing a Bentley Continental GT and a Mercedes SL 550 next weekend and I was looking for a higher quality leather cleaner that didn't have much risk of damaging the surface, my friend said you had a good quality leather cleaner in this video. You even listed the Swissvax product, it seems like it would be a good product.
Thats amazing Pan. I started my own detail business in east texas. Even as a new detailer the quality of my work is far better then the existing detailers. Not boasting at all. Love these videos! Your videos have helped me wash, clean, and restore my cars to their former shine. However, I do have a question... the iron remover you use to clean brake dust and wheels, does this hurt or lessen the breaking? I've always worried about cleaning my wheels with these products as I wasn't sure if they would hurt my breaks/brake calipers. Thanks!
That's almost exactly what I did to my black 2017 440i--ceramic coating included. I anxiously look forward to getting rid of the BMW as fast as I can, but if I ever own another black (or dark) car, it's an ceramic coating is an absolute must. Water literally "runs away" from it. Well done!

Hey I have a 2007 Audi A4 and the chrome trim has a very foggy appearance. Do you know what I could use to clean those? I've tried several things (including trying to mask it with WD-40) and nothing seems to touch it. Any tips you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

You should have a car detailed at least twice a year (for protection of the paint) but compounding/polishing only when you see scratches and swirls.

Protection steps are 1. washing a paint 2. claybar 3.iron x 4.waxing?
I use only washing and waxing whitout iron x and claybar
iron x should be before claybar. Use IPA to strip the paint after compounding/polishing and before sealant or wax application.
