I had a 2018 accord sport 2.0t 6speed. Never had any problems out of it! I use to drive it in sport mode all the time! And can honestly say it was one of the most reliable and dependable cars I ever own! Now I currently have a 21 accord sport 2.0turbo with alittle over 300 miles on it

Those radio and transmission issues do not exist in the 2021 models. I have a 21 Sport 2.0 and the transmission does not hunt at all. You are correct about the little bit of turbo lag when stepping on it when passing but its only a second or two. But once that boost kicks in the car really gets up and goes, no doubt about that. Its a really great car.

True asf! As a fellow 2021 2.0 sport owner, i can confirm that there is no issue like that atleast in my car, btw another issue that the 18 to 20 models are having are the steering rack issue and i have hit 32k miles now since I drive a lot but to this day never had a problem with any of that!

I have a 2018 Honda Accord Sport w/the 1.5L and 6 speed manual transmission. I LOVE it! However, I do have to say that reading all these blown head gasket comments in other YT videos has me a bit nervous! I'm knocking on wood and hope mine doesn't ever experience that problem!

I wonder if they changed something in the transmission in the later years. I have a '22 2.0T Sport and it doesn't hunt at all at highway speed, or really anywhere else that I've experienced. Also think the 10 speeds are for fuel economy more than marketing. If you drive it slowly, it's in fourth gear doing like 20 mph, and it'll hit sixth at regular street speeds.

do you feel any jerkiness with your 2.0t? I feel a little bit of jerkiness when braking and sometimes in the beginning of accelerating and also the car shakes a bit after turning off the engine. I heard some people say this car has that bc of all the gears it goes through but others have said it’s supposed to be smooth

    • @caraddict829

I am considering purchasing a 2022 Honda Accord Sport 2.0, but I am concerned about the oil dilution issues. Have you noticed any gasoline smell in your oil or excess oil on the dipstick? I have heard that the oil dilution issues are mainly on the 1.5 engine but can happen on the 2.0 liter engine.

I have a 2020 Accord EX and so far, after 47,000 miles, the only repairs done have been the safety recall issues. The fuel tank had to be replaced due to a recall which I thought odd.The Michelin tires are somewhat noisy, typical Honda road noise. I have yet to find another brand with the same size and LRR characteristics that would be less noisy. Fuel mileage averages 36-38 MPG on Tier 1 unleaded in mixed driving. But really, it has been reliable and that counts for lot.

Tier 1 gas is the 87 octane unleaded grade which has the highest level of additives for performance. It is approximately five times the amount of additives as required by Federal regulation. A good rule of thumb is to purchase gasoline from major corporations or brands such as Conoco, Phillips, Shell or Sunoco. Here in the KC area, the Quik Trip convenience stores regularly tout the fact that they are selling Tier 1 gas.
