    Sir please check the answer...
    1- Diffusion
    2- particles of matter have intermolecular spaces b/w them.. so salt molecules occupies those empty space and spread throughout the water and hence the level of water do not increases.
    3-particles of matter attract each other .

    1) it is beacuse of the continuse movement of matter which is know as kenetic energy.

    2. How can we calculate the space in the water?
    3.Why this process is not happening in solid state?

    Ans1: smell of food Spread form the kitchen by its own, the process responsible for this is 'diffusion in air'
    Ans2 when we dissolve salt or sugar in water there is no increase in the level of the water because the tiny molecules of the salt and sugar when became very small the particles of the salt and sugar is going between the spaces of the water particles.
    Ans3 a swimmer can easily cuts through the water because of the characteristic of particles of matter:'because of less force of attraction between the particles of the water 'and as ' water particles have some spaces between them'.

    2. That's because we know that there is space between the particles. In this ques, the particles of salt is dissolved in the space between the molecules of water.
    3. As we know that the particles of matter attract each other. In this que, the particles of liquid have less force of attraction. That's why swimmer cuts through the water.

    Solutions: 1) Particles of matter are continuously moving and this is also because kinetic energy is directly proportional temp. So when something is cooking in the kitchen at High temp. the smell tends to move rapidly and repeatedly and the whole kitchen is full of that smell take example of Halwa...2) particles of matter have space between them water being a liquid has less intermolecular force of attraction and therefore has space between whereas salt being a solid has much strong force of attraction and therefore has almost no space in between particles it takes the space between liquid and dissolves...3) particles of matter have space between them.

    1. The smell of food spreads from the kitchen because the particles of food are continuously moving and diffuse with the particles of air . This process is called diffusion.
    2.the water level doesn't increase because after when sugar goes into the water the sugar breaks down into it's particles and occupy the space between the particles of water because particles of matter have space between them.
    3. A swimmer is able to cut through the water but the water remains together after that because particles of water attract each other.

    1. Particles of matter is continuously moving due to which the kinetic energy is high for which diffusion is fastest so the smell of food spread from the kitchen
    2. particles of matter have space between them and water particles allow the salt particles to dissolve with them and get into the particles of water, so the level of water didn't rise
    3.allowed the swimmer to cut through the water

    Ans 1- the process responsible for spreading the smell of food from kitchen is called diffusion . And it says that particles of matter are continuously moving
    Ans 2- dissolving salt in water does not increase the level of water because salt particles where get broken into tiny tiny particles
    Ans 3- it shows that particles of matter attract each other and some has less attraction for example- chalk

  • @diya9973

  • @manjunathm4390
    @manjunathm4390 Před 3 lety +3

    1 = kinetic energy
    2= because they fill the empty space between the water molecules
    3= because the particles attract to each other and is very weak that we can cut off in between

  • @shirleygour9218
    @shirleygour9218 Před 3 lety +3

    Ans 1 : The particles of food start mixing up with air and spread the smell of food from the kitchen . Diffusion process is responsible for this . ( Particles are contiously moving )
    Ans 2 : Dissolving salt in water does not increase the level of water because the particles of salt break into very very tiny particles and they enter into the spaces of water molecules . ( Particles have spaces between them )
    Ans 3 : While swimming, a swimmer "cuts" through the water . This shows "they attract each other" characteristics of particles of matter . Water molecules have weaker attraction than solids.....
    ( Particles attract each other)

    1.Molecules move constantly
    2. The salt breaks down in the water and occupies the space between the molecules
    3. The attraction of molecules of water is poor .so that's why the swimmers can easily cut through the water
    Hope I Was correct 😊
