- We're still experimenting with different wacky baits! The sweet fishing challenge is here and it was TOTALLY AWESOME! The fishing was epic, we caught so many carp on such a variety of sweets. Graeme & Mike run you through what sweets they were using and how they hooked each sweet. The aim of the session was to catch as many carp as you can, using a different type of sweet each time. Mike was on the Haribo Starmix and Strawberry pencils, Graeme was on the good old fashioned Jelly Babies! Watch the action unfold!

It is always such a treat seeing the two of you together!!! Graeme's antics reminded me of a time I spent with my Dad....
Say, have you guys ever tried "American Style Bacon" for bait? If you haven't, and you decide to give it a try, in addition to "Real Bacon" (pork) try it with Beef and Turkey Bacon and see which works best.
Carp in over stocked waters will pick up anything off the bottom to see if it's food , put a hook in it and you will catch.

Hilarious half hour lads thanks. There was a yarn going round last year about a chap winning a beach fishing competition at Winterton, albeit a low fish count, on a blackcurrant jelly baby that brought in the biggest fish of the day. It would be great if you could get some other fish beside them Carp on your bizarre baits. The fish really went on the bite for you after Graeme raised the local air pressure. Thanks again.

Never in my life fished but after watching your videos got the urge to try... first try on cheap telescopic rod cast with Harribo fried egg I caught a blue fish lol love the videos...I think you may have my hooked..

I fished years ago in Arkansas.Was it the Green River or somewhere ?.The guide used marshmallows to catch the Rainbows and I did an article about it.

We went carp fishing at Carlyle Lake in Illinois and caught well over 25 bullhead carp that day. I had made up a ground bait of dog kibble, with garlic and vanilla held together with some chicken broth. Worked wonderfully! Carp will eat just about anything. We gave a few really big ones to some Chinese that had come down to fish, but weren't catching anything, and put the rest back in the lake for another time. We were using traditional Korean fishing rods that day. Kind of like old school bamboo canes and lines. Best fishing day we have had. So glad to see you two enjoying each other's company. Love your videos! Keep making them! I wonder if sweets would work on ocean fish?

So fed up of boring monotone fishing video's. But you guys are fantastic and who would have thought that Bruce Forsyth would be a brilliant angler.
It's crazy what baits Carp will feed on. I fished Lodge Pool in Redditch a few years back and I used whatsit's crisps for my hook bait. Just floating on the top and I caught a bag full of Carp.
because of you guy's my dentist is going soon on vacation but first I now want sweets and so up to the shop. ;)

I might try this, I really only use Sweet corn and bread. But this seems fun, also I've seen a lot of people use a lot of random baits and seems to work. Mainly because they eat mostly random things lol. Good vid I subbed!

blackfin tuna do fight, but the bluefin is king, they can straight up outrun a torpedo in the open ocean, and get as big as a car, 600 kg can be caught off our coasts in canada! incredible fish! loved watchin you guys catch on the sweets, im looking forward to some warmer carp weather to try it for myself! Tight lines folks!

When I was little I used to fish with basically anything I had at hand. Caught a few fish on bubblegum, but never tried sweets before. (Most likely because I ate it before I could use it!)
I ate too many as well.Coupled with the constant giggling I thought I would need a kidney pump !!

The cheap market stall copies would work just as well - Coconut Mushrooms, Rhubarb & Custard etc.

I use gumdrops from 12 to 25mm, and cod liver oil gummy chews at12mm..Caught to 29 lbs on both.

Done this years ago fishing with what was in the cupboard, jelly cubes & boilies made from custard powder mix. but our water was much harder .

Iv had a nice carp on a Haribo egg. I always had a rod out with food I had with me as bait. Slices of chicken tikka work well
