    That belt is probably original. They used that size belt on their decks. Mine has the same belt.

    I have a 34d that has slightly uneven playback when first turned on and then it gets better but still has some irregularities I play speed sometimes. I was thinking that it’s a bad motor but I think it might be the capacitor. Do you know where to get a replacement or what kind should I look for? Thanks!

    That capacitor probably has PCB in it

      Yikes! That doesn't sound fun. Although I never realized they used PCB oil in capacitors. Although, its the 70s so anythings possible.

    Had this purchased new. Cassettes are obsolete…worthless technology.
