This is such a beautiful ode to one of the best known creepypastas in the world. Even despite all the years of ridiculous ".exe/haunted game" creepypastas that made stories like this turn into tropes, the years of mutation and interpretation, you've gotten to the heart of the story and brought back the terror I never thought I could feel at this story's hands again.

I love the angles in the scenes when hes playing the game or on the computer. The way you can see behind him, see his shadow like its almost someone standing behind him or see over his shoulder, like there might be something there. So good.
I was getting genuinely anxious watching this, and then the credits for all the awesome people who worked on this popped up. Diffused the tension and really drove home how fantastic these artists are.

Bagginses I get what your saying, but from my experience playing Majora’s Mask, you get this feeling of dread,sadness, and impending doom when the moon falls on clock town. From the way the music turns into a dark undertone that clearly shows something is wrong, to the ground starting to rumble violently like a earthquake, and how scary the moon’s expression is when it gets really close to you. There are also many different side quests that give you chills. One, for example is the “them” quest. Where you have to fend off aliens from the Romani ranch so they don’t abduct the cows. If you fail, the cows get abducted while also surprisingly a girl working at the ranch gets abducted. She the next day has her memory wiped clean and can’t remember what happened the previous night. In all, this game creates a fear that I think many horror games can’t muster. The shear horror that your just suppose to accept your life as it is when a giant moon is about to crash on you and kill everyone.

Having been in the Creepypasta community for more than 10 years, it's weird finding out that one of the classics was an ARG and that the creepypasta wasn't the end of it. The thing I like about Ben Drowned's basic story that I never noticed before is that the general idea of Ben tormenting Jadusable is heavily comparable to a childhood drowning.
You're going to the beach to have a swim, maybe with some friends, maybe just your parents, maybe you've ran away. Either way, you want to have a good time doing simple things.
You're getting a used N64 off of a Craigslist ad, maybe you'll play with friends, maybe just your roommate, maybe you're all alone. Either way, you want to have a good time doing simple things.
The swim is enjoyable, but something feels off. Every once in a while, dread comes over you, and the waters feel just slightly uncomfortable.

It's only scary if you just recently became a fan of his. I've been watching mamamax since he still had under 100k subs back when he was still helping people through depression (myself included) his old videos are amazingly insightful and funny you should give them a watch

Fun fact about Majora’s Mask: It’s the only game that still stresses me out to this day because of the time limit.
You can do everything you need to do within the time limit, youre meant to reset the clock after each dungeon. I know what you mean though, i prefer a ticking clock because of the added pressure.
If you don't use the Reversed Song of Time, it can be hard to finish each area within the time limit. I remember forgetting to play it when going through the Woodfall Temple and actually failing. Then again, that was also my fault for not getting the Song of Soaring beforehand and starting the dungeon halfway through Day 2.
Play Pathologic. That game is all about the stress of time management.
