Would have been useful information this am going to work lol. It finally got enough juice to start I guess and I’m getting a new battery but once I leave at least I know I can start it a friend said I can lay the key in the console and then I came to look for a video. Very informative! Just subscribed
I have a 2015 MKX. I received the no fob detected message. I have changed the battery. I accidentally pressed the panic button on it. And it went to sounding. I pressed it again, and it stopped. I was several feet away from the car. It worked!! But no, when I tried to unlock or lock it using the fob, it didn't work. Nor did the panic button. So I tried to start the car. No luck. It will start with the fob in the start slot. Ideas??? Plz😢
If none of the buttons are working now I’d take it back apart and take a look. The battery isn’t upside down is it? I’ve seen the battery ground come loose on some of the boards.

My f150 doesn’t have the slot under the drink holder. Where would it be?
Some are under the rubber pad in the center console. Some vehicle have it in the center console storage bin. What year of F150?
