I am always surprised about the ratings of this tank on index. Every category is 3 stars or less, even though for example mobility and gun handling of this tank are above average if you ask me (4 stars or more). I guess if the horrific DPM was part of gun handling rating, I can see that.
I get that it's easy to compare it to progetto and call it horrible, but I think if compared with other non-OP tier 8 mediums, this tank can shine, and it definitely deserves at least average rating in my books.
edit: Just to say, I am thinking about this comment afterwards, and I realize the index is literally skill's personal feelings about the tanks, so ofc not everyone will agree with it. Even still, I will leave this comment as it is because I feel strongly about this tank.

Couldn't agree more. I've recently 3 marekd this tank (its pretty easy btw) and i found it fenomenal if you adjust to the gamestyle. Yeah progetto is better but also this tank is a lot better than the guard or t-34-3 so. Also fast inter clip is awesome. Just use a viewrange build and the tank just performs.
Is the progetto removed from sale or why its not on the shop?
I agree with you, I don't find this tank that bad. It's actually pretty good in every aspect except for the DPM.

I got the M-IV-Y, Emil 1951, Skoda T27, and M48 Rpz from the lootboxes. I really wanted the Renegade, but RNG said no so I got to wait for it when they sell it again.
M-IV-Y: Renegade is better in all regards, but it isn't a bad tank and definitely deserves more credit than it gets. While the Renegade does get better gun handling and DPM, the Yoh still has strong dpm for the tier, decent gun handling, and decent armor. Plus, the track mechanic can really save you in some situations. Overall a decent tank, though as I said, Renegade is better all in all. In my opinion, I think the hatch on the Yoh could be buffed, considering the turret has other weakspots unlike Renegade and the hull is pretty trash. If the hatch was like 220 or 230mm, it could stop most standard shells but gold would still go through it, to avoid making it OP. Just my opinion/idea though.
EMIL 1951: Terrible gun but really good DPM, mobility, and armor (when HULL DOWN). Overall, a strong vehicle if you can spec the tank to compensate for the poor gun handling and mediocre penetration and obviously know how to play it, especially in bottom-tier matchups.
Skoda T27: Worse Progetto, but not bad by any means. Pretty good gun from what I've seen, just a fun tank to have/play. Don't hate on it too much. Every tank will struggle to compare to the strongest tank(s) at the tier.
M48 Rpz: I can't bring myself to play it. Not selling it only because if future boxes are like these ones, you can't get the same tank twice, which never hurts.

I have this tank and find it a good vehicle. Main pro for me is the lower inter clip lets you trade very well with other auto-loaders and your DPM stays high if you dump all 3 shots, unlike Progetto's reduced reload on full empty. The issue for me is the tank has "loser team rng" I'm a 61% recent win rate player and this tank even doing 2551 damage average per game in last 60 days has a win rate of 42% and 46% overall.
46%?? thats decent.....my kunze 35% win ratio.. LOL
@@caturtrisnantoaji679 Ouch!! My overall win rate is 62% in the Kunze with a win8 of 3219 in the past 120 days (only 12 games) and 2776 average damage. I enjoy it because it's fast and uniquely flexible. Just be ready to run early game and to flank with reckless abandon late game. If you can park behind a friendly HT late game, wait for the enemy HT to fire you just drive behind them and DPM them into the grave.
Problem with prog wg when full baboon on it , they removed the rammer from the tech tree and also decided to remove it from the premium tank ( instead of leaving it .. ) because of that oh eh you nerf prog ( oh no they legally can’t do that ) so they had to buff the reload timer on the tank as if it had a rammer so basically the prog has four equipment slots with one of them “fixed” with a rammer ( instead of leaving the ability to equip the rammer on the premium , while removing it from tech tree tanks ) bylat

this tank should have been the t8 techtree czech medium instead of awefull tvp vtu. t9 and t10 are glorious autoloaders, this tank would lead up to them...
i have saved up free xp will skip tvp vtu because in my other account it was a horrible experience even dare to say worst medium in the game tier for tier

I kinda like this tank. Sure it falls behind some op premium mediums. It doesn't need to be the best to like something. For example i don't like any heavy tanks, op premiums or not.
Sure this tank would need some love. Put 10-20% more to every stat of it and it would be quite good actually. Still one of more played tier 8 premium for me.
If i hadnt bought the T27 in Black Market the other year, i'd have been able to afford the Progetto in the same BM :(

It only needs a damage buff per shot. It's so underpowered in today's meta
i think if you gave it 280 per shot that will buff dpm to 1825 and up the standard pen to 218 and premium to 255

This tank would be nice or at least average if it were accurate. But now... oh.my.god. I rarely hit what I aim at. And rarely I hit all three shells in a clip, even point-blank. It's blind like B-C 25t, but worse.
