  • Join me on a trip to South Australia to photograph some incredible bird species. I've always been fascinated by albatrosses and I was not deceived! We got to see and photograph wandering, shy, black-browed and Indian yellow-nose (a Salvin's passed by at the end but i was asleep...). We also got great views of storm petrels, what a day!
The Canon EOS 1DxMKII lived up to it's "wildlife beast camera" standards!

I field test and push my gear quite often so I can give informed advice when I get asked what camera, or lenses, or anything gear related to buying equipment. The gear links above are Amazon affiliate links. If you buy through them you get the regular Amazon price and I receive a small percentage from that - this helps to support and continue my passion documenting wildlife and conservation.

You can try beast Sony a9ii and G master 600mm f4. Sony a9ii is a mind-blowing autofocus and blackout free and 20 fps.

Something well worth to get up for at 5.15 a.m.! Amazing footage and edit 🙌. Can't even think about doing a handheld shot using a Tele lens from a shaky boat. Absolutely dope 🤙!!!

Awesome, can't wait! Been following your instagram for a while, I especially like the story updates from your trips to the desert.
I've been trying my hand at Bird photography and have the basics down, but wanting to improve/understand my settings better. I have a 700D and a sigma 150-600 contemporary and finding they work really well together but i'm often shooting in the rainforest and woodlands around the Northern Tablelands of NSW and i can never seem to find the right settings to get nice crisp shots. I'm also wanting to learn to process images after as right now i only process images in and for instagram.
