Product Profile: Hybrid Ceramic Synthetic Clay Kit
Why use a clay bar on your paint?
After you wash and dry your car, rub your fingertips across the top surfaces. Don’t be surprised if what you feel is the presence of harmful contaminants such as over spray, fallout, brake dust, tree sap, and more that have bonded to your paint finish. These contaminants prevent the paint from reflecting light and shining to its full potential. Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Synthetic Clay Kit contains everything you need to restore a smooth-as-glass finish AND leave behind a layer of Hybrid Ceramic Protection. The Included Synthetic Clay Pad is designed to perform like traditional clay yet is easier to handle and can be used over and over again! Plus, it’s dialled in to effectively remove bonded contaminants without hazing the paint. Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Detailer is not only a great lubricant, allowing the Synthetic Clay Pad to glide with ease, but will leave behind a layer of Hybrid Ceramic protection that beads water like crazy!
SMOOTH & PROTECT: Get a smooth-as-glass finish while protecting paint in just one-step
CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY: Hybrid Ceramic Detailer lubricates the Synthetic Clay Pad & contains advanced Si02 Hybrid Ceramic protection
ENHANCED SLICKNESS & SHINE: Delivers enhanced slickness, shine and extreme water beading action
INCLUDED SYNTHETIC CLAY PAD: Specialised Synthetic Clay Pad effectively removes bonded contaminants and smooths paint without hazing
MICROFIBRE INCLUDED: Premium Supreme Shine™ Microfibre Towel included to gently remove excess detailer

One of the most innovative products by meguiar’s so far. Especially the clay being washable. 👍Twenty times better than the old clay bars. 🤣
Would work great for me on my van as it's mostly vertical work and i'd drop the clay a lot so a washable solution is ideal.
Hmmmm I’ve been using gold class shampoo, then gold class polish, then the ultimate wax every 3 months give or take, and then in between I top up from time to time with car pros quick detailer (not sure if a meguiars equivalent) Never lets me down, can get too confusing for the average guy but this process and I regularly get comments on my cars, finish and condition. how long does the pad last? and where can I buy a replacement????
I bought that product, I'm from Mexico, but I was disappointed because when I applied it with the sponge, which makes up for what the clay is, in some parts it began to come off and from the same material of the sponge it began to create or leave scratches on the car , I don't know why was the reason? Could you help me? I bought it to decontaminate and then be able to use a wax, but I don't know which one ..
Hey guys thanks for this video ... Im willing to try the product but have few questions.
I would like to know after using this synthetic clay kit with provided detailer ... Can i use Meguiar's Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Liquid Wax? Also do you recommend after this synthetic clay do machine polish or hand polish?
Hi, is this detailer compatible with the Meguiar's premium clay bar?
Better than the clay bar ?
Hey guys, tell me plz, what’s difference between hybrid ceramic wax and hybrid ceramic clay kit
Am I able to buy the pad by it self?
It’s two in one
I bought the ultimate paste wax; it came in chunks. What is the best way to melt it? Please help, thanks.
Please use the contact us page and send through some images and we can help further.
Can you buy the mitt separate? Only just bought the detailer along with £80 worth of meguairs products, looks to me you can only buy as a pair
It comes as part of the Synthetic Clay Kit
I would like to use the product but I don't have any closed space or garage. Would it be a good idea to apply it while outdoors? Thank you
If it's not windy or in direct sunlight should be fine.
Yes absolutely. Pick a mild day.
You are absolutely fine to use this outside. Just make sure the paint is cool to the touch. either first thing in the morning or not in direct sunlight.
When this bottle is empty can you use the claypad with the regular quick detailer? ( red bottle)
The regular Quik Detailer is not compatible with the new Synthetic Clay. Only the Hybrid Ceramic Synthetic Detailer is.

I ordered one of these, but the bottle broke during transport. I machine washed the pad, but now it's very sticky.
Is it normal to be that sticky? Do I have to replace it? Or can I fix it maybe?
Please use the contact us page with regards to the bottle with pictures and we will help further. The pad doesn't need to be machine washed. you can simply run it under a tap to clean it.
@@meguiarsuk already received a new bottle but not a new pad, is it normal for the pad to be so sticky?
@@larsmertens655 it is normal for a clay pad to be sticky. Just rinse any loose dirt off and you should be fine.
Seems like a product I can use. Will this prevent scratches normally associated with traditional clay bars?
Anything that removes contamination will scratch the surface.. Besides an iron fall out remover of course.
@@AaronPJohnston1 Thanks for the reply.
koolkat969 but the scratches from a clay mitt are not like normal scratches. They'd be very light and not really visible. It's recommended that a Polish generally should follow a clay bar/mitt to get rid of any light scratches and swirls before a good wax.
@@lukegeorge4905 Thanks. I'm not a big fan of polishes and that's the problem because everytime you polish, the paint is getting thinner and thinner. I can somehow live with light scratches from every day use but knowingly inflicting more scratches by way of clay bar then having to polish afterwards to get rid of them goes against my logic. However, I think I'll be the minority here in this way of thinking 😁
koolkat969 Yeh I agree. I suppose it depends how old your car is and what sort of care the paint has had over the years. If it's new and you're not a fan of the method then I'd do it once every couple of years and use an iron remover every now and again. Then just put on a hybrid ceramic wax coating and that'll make it look decent enough.
Anyone knows if I can ultimate compound/polish after this ?
I tried, but seems the clay pad made my paint a lil too rough,so the only option was using ultimate compound to bring the gloss back.
I wish your bottles were bigger :(
Boa tarde Raboni deixei de ver você no CZcams.
Custava responder ao que lhe perguntei?
Boa sorte
Do I need to clay the surface before apply the product?
Here you apply the spray before using the clay mitt. The clay mitt needs a lubricant ideally.
This kit is the clay! if you want to then go onto compound, polish or wax you can.
Eddie Hall the detailer
I take it you clay a totally wax free car ? Then after the clay bar you then IPA before compounding ?
Cheers Joe.
Yeh. When you're claying it,it means theres now zero protection on the car.
If you wanted to compound after this you can or you can just remove the above surface defects.
confused... if you are cleaning the paint, why put down ceramics... especially if you are going to polish after?
First Can I have a free kit lol
