This is the center portion of my intermediate advanced ballet class. Make sure you have done a barre and are fully warmed up to dance! I have listed all of the class combinations in the box below. I am soloist with Miami City Ballet a former soloist with the New York City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. You will see many different kinds of how-to videos here including makeup, hair, ballet workouts and exercises, Q and A sessions, lifestyle advice, and DIY on this channel. I can't believe how beautiful your jumps are - especially when you insisted you weren't a jumper! So light and effortless! It really shows how well rounded you are as a dancer. No wonder you had so much success at NYCB. I look at the dancers now at NYCB and although they are so talented, athletic and punchy I can't help but think you have that strong training but also the lightness and grace of TRB. Would you have ever considered going to ABT for example? You are clearly a classical specialist.
I'm not a dancer. I've never been a dancer. This is all French gibberish to me but I LOVE it! You're so graceful, meanwhile I'm over here with my two left feet! x
I am a ballet dancer ,and I have been dancing all my life .I also teach ballet and I learn something new from my students all the time . Join a ballet class for beginners and you will see how much fun it is and you will see that you have a right and left foot.
ive been dancing for about 11 years and im taking french and i still dont understand it haha

I found these combinations very challenging a few years before and came across the video today and decided to give it try one more time and could get all right this time. Is it weird that I'm just sitting here watching a center video...? But I just can't help it, I LOVE watching you dance! It literally takes my breath away! And gorgeous studio, as well! I can imagine there'd be a lot of car crashes around there because people would be so distracted by the beautiful woman twirling in the ballet studio that they wouldn't be able to keep their eyes on the road! I’m a beginner and really have no business watching this incredible video of your amazing skills. But that “first tendu & fifth” at the beginning of this video was like catnip to me. I loved it so much (and watched and tried to do it so many times) I ended up feeling nausea LOL BUT I LOVE IT SO MUCH that I can’t stop trying. Even if it takes me years I will try to memorize this “brain teaser.” Thank you for this video. God bless you!

My Class suggestion; coming back to ballet after a loooong time away. I have tried other videos to get a start and I find them hard on an old lady who misses her dancing. I was an intermediate-advanced student, the steps come to mind but the body is unwilling.
"I'm going to show this to the right, because goodness knows to the left it's not gonna be cute!" Literally me with almost all combinations to the left hahaha

this is one of the best classes i have ever taken!! this is my second time doing this center that is how much i love it. it is a little hard and challenging for me being a younger dancer, but i love this class. btw the studio you are in is sooooo beautiful!! tysm for this class! i love your channel!!

Love the quality of the video. The sound is great (no echo!) and the space is lovely. Curious, do you always use piano for music? It would be awesome to hear some other types of classical, or even modern, music. Would you even consider doing a video like that? Love you dancing, always an inspiration. I'm older and got injured, but you make me want to keep trying :)

I am not a ballerina by any stretch of the imagination, but I can't stop watching your videos! You are a beautifullll dancer :') and I can tell you're doing exactly what you're meant to be doing. Like you, I also had a rough couple of years, my dreams were put on hold due to deteriorating mental health and situations outside of my control. I'm just now getting back to my goals (I'm in the arts like you) - and your journey continues to inspire me. I think about my "dark years" as a spiritual lesson, and I feel stronger and more humbled now that I've weathered the storm. xo
