- I produced, edited and (for parts) filmed this video in order to inspire the "artists", the creative, the adventurers, the people who do what they really enjoy doing (and for those who don't, to keep searching), the creators ... the "crazy" ones. To all the people who challenge the "status quo" in which society is based nowadays. And most important, to motivate those who follow their passions no matter what. when i draw something normal people doesn't appreciate my art that much.. then it brings my mood down to draw and then i realize that i really don't need someone to motivate me
I feel that. What's helped me is making art for myself and talking to other artists. Other artists understand the process and will appreciate you creating anything because some "normal people" don't have the courage to even start a drawing

Thanks... right now I feel like shit, maybe tonight I will have more energy, most of the time during the day I'm tired but when it's during the night when people sleeps I'm more awake.
No, you should get medication and counseling and then make art when you feel like it, trust me

Thank you for this. It's hard to keep creating, but it's so important! I'm always happier during and after drawing or painting. But getting started is never easy. What if people don't like it? What if no one notices? Those are hard questions for me and for many others I'm sure! So thank you again for creating and sharing this. I needed it!
I showed this video at the opening assembly for 400 arts students - fantastic! Thank you so much for creating it. Nice to find a motivational video that talks about the value of failure, hard work and committing to what you love - all this seen through the lens of the creatives and artists. This video motivates us to make our dreams come true, to listen to that voice that stays in our head and make it happen. The secret of happiness is doing what we love, doing what we like when we feel the need to express ourselves and always evolve our talents and dreams.
This video is a motivating video , to never give up and discredit your art , that sometimes there will be people who will not believe in our potential , but to prove to them is to never give up and run after what you like to do , what it does you good.
Excellent video, we need to go through the difficulties more confident of ourselves, trust our instincts, trust yourself, no matter how difficult things are, let's go through it with more love, a video that brings you a great reflection.

Thank you so much for this kind of motivational for all the artist.This really incourage me more and motivates me more to not give up and never lose courage when people don't like and appriciate my drawings and all my artworks.Since when i was still a child i started to draw at the age of 4 until i finally turned into 10 i still draw and i really never expected that people around me even my families don't really appriciate my artworks so because of that i lose courage and i cease doing my art works but then after 1year i realize that i should continue doing some of my art works and i started to motivate myself and incourage myself everytime and i just ignored those people who don't appriciate my drawings and i don't care about that anymore.Even for now many people don't appriciate my artworks but i never care about that now cause no one can ever stop me for chasing my dreams and continue doing artworks and this motivation really makes me feel more happy and this incourage me more......🥰🥰
I am art guy and just graduete from art school in 2019, but the pandemic come in, many instituion closed or not accept new student anymore and the situation got worse making me doing something that lead to my biggest mistake in life, following my ego and fear instead of my hearth and dream, i choose to go into law instituion instead of art. Forcing my self to do something i didnt love in first place making me destroying myself in the process to the point i almost forgot how to hold a pencil and made a straight line. I survive for only 3 semester in college, droping out, going home with nothing but depression and failure, as well losing most of my drawing skill. I thought i was done, and before going to suicide i decided to watch all video in my watch later playlist for last time and found this along with other motivation video that i saved a years ago. Thank you, is been 3 month since i cancel my suicide attempt thanks to you as well other motivator on youtube. You give me confident, now i beem learning again how to draw and start making art again, thank you.

I once meet a boy who lost his leg, mother, brother, sister, and everyone he loved to a 10 year bloody civil war. I asked him if he wanted to draw and he replied, "what would you like me to draw?" And I said, "something that makes you happy". He replied, "Iam sorry, I don't know what that is". "What do you mean?" Was my reply and he added "Happiness....I have forgotten what it is." Then I realised, that I too had forgotten what it was. And there we both were, all we could draw was nothing.

Recently i wanted to try digital art (even if it’s just in my ipad to begin) but i feel like its really hard, and then i practice traditional art and it’s fine but i still need to improve 😓
very interesting video. Often making good art will not be easy, and we will think about giving up but we must work hard to get where we want to be.

This video can really motivate people to not give up on their art. It's nice to listen to someone not telling us to give up. I think art is subjective, so criticizing it isn't fair. People have different opinions about what is art. That's why no one should give up and keep doing what makes them happy.

When I draw it takes me out of this world and into a world of my own in my beliefs I have to worlds my reality and my own creative world where I can be what I want, feel what I want and do what I want.

This video is very good, because most of these people need this incentive to do what they like and what they love, because they are usually stuck in a cycle that doesn't make them happy, they're afraid to unfold their talent because they don't know what to do. people will think so she feels insecure to do her art, be it singing, dancing, playing an instrument and she can't feel that way because if she doesn't she will never lose this fear that many people have including me.

I'm speechless, perfect video, we must love what we do to only get a "perfect" job and as difficult as it may seem, we must always be patient because everything has its time. We know we are on the right path when we realize the difficulties we go through to get to a place. The problem of some people is to think that life will always be something easy.

I found the video very interesting, because it shows us that we should do what we really like and that we enjoy doing it, if you really like something, go for it, don't give up, don't let opportunities pass you by, and if you you are doing something you don't love, that doesn't bring you pleasure , don't continue for the opinion of others or fear of judgment, try something else. Always do what you love!!

Great video! I would love to see more videos like this that include the words of BIPOC. I know I know, I went there. When I share videos like this, I want all people to feel included to do great things on this wild journey.
I love doing paintings and drawings but I have a finger deformation where my fingers are bent the wrong way thus making me hold a pencil weird and all my art comes out shaky and wrong, I try to not give up but it is hard sometimes..
+Kate Campbell Hi :) Maybe this is interesting for you (www.ted.com/talks/phil_hansen_embrace_the_shake). Your art might not be like someone elses art, but who defines what is wrong or right art? There are also people drawing with their mouth or feet. Maybe you are able to make art that noone else might be able to do :)

If you start to think straight this time you will see what you were really born to be
this is very inspirational, i draw really bad but it made me believe that even though i draw badly i still draw well. very inspiring indeed, note 10! life is hard, but we have a lot of good times too.

*Because society has it in mind that we should choose a job that provides us with a very good income from money in order for us to be “happy”, but what if it’s a job you don’t like doing? You do it the same way, because it brings you money and happiness, but it's not that way.
*The message says that if we do some task that we don't like, we will have a boring, unhappy life, frequent stress and a lot of tiredness. But when you do some activity that you like to do, you lead a lighter and happier life, because you will feel pleasure in what you do.
*So do what you like, look for jobs that bring you pleasure and happiness, chase your dreams, listen to your intuitions, that is, don't ignore your feelings and go be happy without the pressure of society. 😃

I love art so much,but realtiy is always cruel,im highschool student,i want art is the target of my life to make money,but my grandma said being Artist is poor,she wants me to be something else,im lost...,my art is not epic or something,i just dont know what to do
Hi! I'm also a highschool student with slightly the same dreams as you. I say, if you want to be an artist, you should go for it. I agree that it doesn't guarentee a stable income, so that's why I suggest a side job, or a job that includes both a stable income and you can work on art pieces every day. An example would be to become an art teacher. That's what I'm working towards. Hope this helps!
You should always be passionate about your art whether you make money from it or not. It's not about the fame and success, it's about creation. It's about sharing your talent with the world. It's about the struggle to create when everyone is telling you it's a mysterious broken down path. There is no rule that says you must choose between art and the economic society. They can co-exist in your life together. Your passion for creating art should never fade away even if you are working a 9-5 job.

Thank you for this video. I'm an artist and the easy part is creating the art that others think is too time consuming to create. The hardest part is having the patience to starve while waiting to make enough money to live off of. I tend to share the belief that's quoted in this video, "Make good art", praying that it come$😂$ooner than later, to put it simply, before death😴do us part😇.

I have something to say about this, I agree with some things and some not.
One yes there is passion and two there is just the naturalist meaning well for me I don't really have a passion or motivation to do Art it's kinda just apart of me, I kinda just wake up and do it out of naturalism.
The other side of me is where society and real life effects me. I am at a dead end factory job where I'm miserable, I want a change but I can relate a lot like others where he says it's like putting messages in bottles on a desert island and hoping someone will find it, open it and read it and put something in that bottle and wash it's way back to you. So at the moment I am doing the opposite of my dream job, it's better then where I'm at now but I am just desperate to get out of the job I'm at now so if someone wants to chat or just give me some advice I would really appreciate it.

But it has its flaws; To those who said to follow your dream, don't understand that not everyone achieves this beautiful feat, whether this is capitalism or not? "Make good art" is a phrase that demonstrates a false ease of achieving what we so desire.

You can have a great life without being exceptional at anything. And...you can have a shitty life while being exceptional at something. There are many examples of exceptional people who were never happy.
