First off Merry Christmas and Happy New Year good luck with your endeavors on your hobby store. I've always wanted one but they're like rain over here. I have four of them in driving distance. and Prices range from totally ridiculous two decent and fare. if I drive to Columbus Ohio they really have decent prices up there but that's an hour drive away. :( . anyway good luck. ;)
I'm excited you are going to get your own hobby shop! Maybe a couple of thing to consider...keep you focus tight..Andy's has a awesome selection of armour, but weak in other areas..don't over extend yourself in different areas. be known for being the best in your area of model building. But most importantly, Andy is putting out many build videos generating income without any inventory holding costs. He may actually be making more money doing videos than he is selling physical product. Your skills are as good as his, so I guess i'm saying is to take full advantage of the dual revenue stream of videos and sales. People come to Andy's because of his videos, and I'll be coming by his shop on early January when we attend to my father. With your modeling skills and likeability, I'm sure you can accomplish the same in your area.
Thanks mate. I will be doing lots of differnt things besides models as we will be selling toys and collectibles as well. We are also going to be distributors for certain ranges here in Australia as all the others are down south which makes it a bit unfair for shipping cost. I already have a spot picked out for doing my builds in the shop and can not wait to set up and share it with you all. As always you take care mate.
