What an enjoyable video! I've always been a fan of that kit but I've never gotten one. I use to belong to an Airfix modelers group in England. I mentioned that I was thinking about buying it. I didn't know Englishmen used that kind of language ! However they all agreed with you. They were unanimous in saying that it was a beautiful model "if" you were willing to do what needs to be fixed. I'm in agreement with the other guys, you need to build that kit ! and fairly soon too! Happy Holidays !
thanks mate. I really hope to get around to doing this one early next year. Just love the look of this bird and its historic importance. Looks like i will have to order some ezy line and learn how to make turn buckles.
scalemodelmania there's a guy on here who did a video on making those very things. I'm sorry I can't remember his name but I think it's the guy who does those amazing stop motion Airfix kit builds. It was fascinating to watch but you couldn't pay me enough to do that !!! I'll tell you now that I'll be following that build!
i have seen that blokes videos and he is a great builder. Does some awesome work. LOL...i am going to do it for free.
