I have not braided my hair for more than 5 years now but seeing this tutorial makes me want to do it again. Do you think braided hairstyles are possible on a TWA with tapered sides ?

My hair must be the most stubborn 4c hair I've ever come across,it just refuses lay down no matter how much gel and wax I put. I dampen the hair first also 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Depends on the *texture* of your 4c hair. The curl pattern is 4c, but there are different texture 4c hair. So her hair may be cottony, and yours maybe coarse or wiry. Both 4c curl type,but each head of hair will react differently to the same products.
I have this same problem. Try washing and blow drying it out before you start.
