How come you dont comb all the way out at the middle to detangle and lengthen? Why not use big comb to detangle then little comb to smooth?just curious? Does leaving the roots like that give it stability?

@SunniCalifornia That client have 4c hair. Combs just detangle, it wouldn't help at all for the bun, only brushes. And that's what he used.
