love when you make these story type bannerlord videos, keep up the good work.
I learnt in the past when playing a bandit playthrough. Always to the Khannate to get fast bandit troops that can have blunt weapons. Keeping your speed and mobility up with the ability to take plenty of bandit prisoners.

And it is fun, and not too difficult.

Deserters-Swadia.
So it’s actually alternative history of Calradia.

People severely underestimate bandit troops. Sea Raider Chiefs are solid infantry, only really outclassed by large numbers of tier 5-6 heavy infantry and weak to cavalry. They are cheap, which means you can get them in very high numbers. And forest bandits have the same bow that Fians have, so they are potent archers. I almost always use bandits to help level my roguery but also as cheap garrison units or to help fill out my field armies with cheaper units.

It's just simply xp. Some perks make it easier but in the mid-end game you fight bigger armies and you do so with winning with less casualties.

How about a guide on banners/flags and their effects next? Some seem to be more usefull than others. I usually use only damage increase or arrow damage reduction.

Made a custom map from scratch, then launched custom battle via enhance battle mod to get the troops in

I dont know if you like these types of mods/playthroughs but maby you should try the empires of europe 1700 mod, but if you like the orginal map, could you use the my litte warband mod? I really like watching youtubers play this mod especialy you bc you make everything fun

How in the world did you manage to get so many bandit troops. The absolute maximum I could get was 143 in party, and 80 as recruitable prisoners. And that was after scouring the map for all bandit parties.
With custom troops & party ai controls, I made Bandit troops recruitable in fiefs I had captured. This way, Agnarr's bandit vassals could only recruit bandit units. I'll have a guide on how to do this in discord. I still had many bandits left over from recruiting them in vanilla ways (tracking them down on the map, prisoner recruitment and gang alleys a bit too).

just over a year lol. Needed to wait for a mod that could forced your clans to recruit specific troops (so only bandits)
Maybe go to a different mod like the game of throne mod or war hammer mod to continue your adventure.
