We can see Jenn is a Bike Mech herself, very detailed uderstanding of her bike, components and tune up vs effects ! Great to watch and informative ! Go job Jenn and Canyon MTB Rcing team !
Wow, Jenn knows her bike!
Jenn rocks!
I'm amazed at how logically you explain the setting of the bike. In particular, the 165mm crank, 160mm front wheel rotor, two-piston caliper, and 34T chainring. It is easy to understand to explain the wheelbase has been extended by the stance. Thank you so much. The team's player profile said, "Jenn grew up around her hometown of Barrie, ON, but currently trains out of Kamloops, BC, and enjoys working as a bike mechanic on the side of racing." You see, the explanation should be very good.
Glad I can make some sense of constant bike babble! 😆
Great content, informative educational, and presented perfectly. thank you!
Great video, Jenn! I'm really enjoying watching this 2022 video series. All three of you are kicking ass. I've missed a couple of World Cup events but I feel like I'm all caught up thanks to Emily's channel. I was a bit sad when Emily left Trek, but I'm loving this Canyon teamwork & camaraderie. Glad the elbow is healing well. Cheers from AZ!
Thank you! Everything is really gelling for us.
Hi.
Congratulations for the excellent participation and result in Sainte -Anne.Very good starting position for sunday.Excellent choice and combination of tires.
Love the bike! All the specs are amazing, honestly, the color scheme is so eye catching too! I like the insight on how you made frame size and other dimensions work for you, too. Good luck Sunday in MSA ladies!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
wow.... this girl really knows her stuff, very impressed!
Interesting topic. thanks for sharing.
Damn! ...best bike check by a world cup rider that I've ever seen!👍
Very interesting and informative. Thanks!
Awesome video, keep pushing Jenn. I like the review videos like yours. Well explained and great bike.
Thank you!
Nice! She knows her bike!
Awesome run through! We need an entire Jenn talks bikes series! 5:28 Are we talking completely new XTR pedals? or new-ish?
I hope you can show a picture of how the back of the fork arch was filled up and and explain how it was done and with what material. I think that's a great idea to make the bike shed mud more quickly. Oh, and that bike is gorgeous.
We just use tape, usually electrical or some kind of duct. You can also use a mud guard to keep spray down, but sometimes if the mud is thick then it’ll pack more inside the guard and cause a lot of drag, so just tape is a nice way to avoid the extra build up.
What tyre inserts are you using?
bro i wish i had this bike sooooo bad
Which fork did you go with?
Do you have a part number for that new fork? I want one for mine 😂
sick
Bellos colores de bici emili
Is the BB press fit or threaded?
Pressfit
So its new skool geo but going down a size to preserve old skool geo?
Regardless cool looking bike and good luck to you Friday and Sunday!!
♥️ From Omaha Nebraska
Just to optimize my fit for seated pedalling position :) I’m on the recommended size from Canyon for my height (172cm). The new geo showcases best on the technical terrain and bigger features we race our XC bikes on now!
@@jennjackson6597 Hellz yeah 🤘🤘Sounds good.
Knock em dead!
But what is the geo? Top tube, reach, head angle?
@@janeblogs324 mention it all in the video :)
I have had my new Lux WC for two weeks right now but think I should not to sell my old Exceed so quikly. Should keep it as a winter bike. Today I was trying an aluminium bike and was so huge diference.😢
Totally support having a winter training bike for when the weather is rough. Makes you extra appreciate getting back on the A bike
@@jennjackson6597 thanks, yep I am an idiot 😁
Cool video. How tall is Jenn Jackson?
172cm (5’7” and a bit)
You missed the money shot question, weight????
Oh man we goofed! Race weight is between 21.5-22.5 depending on tires.
Why is hard to purchase these bikes?
Jenn Jackson height in cm? Frame size S or XS?
Please tell me which size the bike you’re reviewing?! Thanks!
You are my New Favorite Female Recer.
Sadly those new bikes don’t have routing for a dropper
Hmm? Can you clarify? The bike has a dropper. The cabling is internally routed.
When a woman speaks technical i just hate that. sorry but that's the truth. woman should not care about that. yeah i'm old fashionned but i don't care at all. turns me off completly but nice bike actually. did not finish watching.
Sorry you feel this way man
@@jennjackson6597 Don't worry about him, thankfully most men are not like him :) I for one was really impressed with your knowledge on everything and have much respect, understanding the mechanical side of your bike will only make you a better rider! Good luck with your future races and good job on the short track :)
