Most zoomers have either Gen X or early millennials parents. If the parents grew up with Smashing pumpkins. I believe some of their parents introduced them to music of their heydays
@@flfreaks3745 i'm a millennial, but i can see what you're saying. my parents are a few years older than the members of SP and i'm pretty sure they don't know anything about them. but yeah, it did hit me recently that people in their twenties now have probably been exposed to this band from infancy as their parents were fans. that's wild. time is insane.

I don't think James has by many the respect of a rhythm guitar player. The dud has always been solid and has written some great jams. jmho. If I had another project, he'd be the first to jam with.
He's great but it's really hard for him not to be overshadowed by Billy Corgan. In so many other other great bands he would have been the star

it's funny because within (from what i've seen) the SP community (especially while he was not in the band) there have been so many people denying his talent, but within the A perfect circle fans he gets praised all the time. I think Billy's comments had seriously affected peoples point of view of it which is a shame because a lot of what billy said about him was just based in his deep emotional turmoil regarding their friendship and not entirely in truth. oh well. things are coming around for james' reputation
