This might be answered in this video or the podcast (I’m going to watch both) but how do you go about being hired for training? I’ve checked every airport near me and I only see ways to apply for air traffic control post training. Any advice would be appreciated!

Contact advanced atc in Valdosta Georgia. It's a vocational training school that will get you a license to control traffic. Then apply for numerous contract towers and direct to the faa.

PGD has great controllers. The airspace and traffic depiction really helped me understand what goes on while I am being vectored for landing.
