You know what helps me keep my hands up is getting punched in the face
I juss block the punches with my face, works all the time
@@teengohanssj2109 Justin Gaethje and Nate Diaz say that’s the best way 🤣🤣
@@IronRoyal gotta work smart not hard
Nothing like the ol conditioning your chin 😂
By then, it's too late
Well explained mate
I practiced this after watching.
Poked myself in the eye.
Bro got some tree trunk legs damn lol he definitely got the advantage for his weight class in kicking, be like pullin up to a baseball bat fight with a damn pine tree 🌲 lmao
This is a great video on what my coach described as keeping in your chamber. It was a game changer for me. I sent this to folks. Keep this up
Sounds like you have a great coach!! I know how phenomenal Eddie is so any similarities are an excellent sign indeed!! Glad you liked it!!
One of the best ways that I have heard it explained.
Lmao. It’s funny how people think they have it all figured out. There’s levels to this and Eddie is on another level than y’all. Some of you should humble yourselves and keep an open mind so you can actually learn something. Establishing your stance and rhythm are the 1st things you learn for a reason. And all of you would easily fall for the traps a fighter who understands rhythm and how to manipulate it would set. A fighter like Eddie.
Eddie is an absolute beast
I really think most fighters don’t know much about rhythm, timing, and who has the initiative in a fight. And because they don’t know what that is, most fans commentators and competitors chalk those things up to Creativity.
ya but u know
Been training 3 years now and I still feel like a beginner. Muay Thai is a lifelong process with nonstop tribulation.
Beautiful bro. You already earned the “martial” now you teach the “art!”
great tips.
Nice explanation on the importance of letting the rhythm do the work!😎👍🏾
love teachers like him
@@gracie99999
Agreed!
Wow I feel like I just leveled up !!!!
Thank you soooo much for your time Eddie !!!!!
This was really sound advice about allowing body mechanics to remain natural. Walking was a great example.
I love this explanation. Fellow boxer 💪🏽
This is a golden nugget friend thanks!!!
Nice Eddie I like this guy give this man the floor
Bloody fantastic explanation
Makes alot of sense. Wow. Very dope.
Awesome explanation - thanks bro!
One of the most important things you can learn. 👍
Good stuff brah.
One of the best to do it and easily one of the most unorthodox
Facts nicely explained looking forward to more videos
Very accurate coach. 👌
Thanks for the tip man
Brotha! 🙌🏽🌊
don’t he train rah here in Dublin ca?
That does keep a well relaxed rhythm. Nice tip! You also have to change that rhythm up to avoid predictability.
Good form
Damn this brother got pretty big. I been watching his tutorials for a long time. Bro is getting swol
Good point
Will Eddie have another instructional coming out ?
This is it coach
Love it
KEEPING RELAXED IS THE KEY💯BUT THAT'S EASIER SAID THAN DONE IN REAL LIFE SITUATIONS ✌🏿🇨🇦
"Everything moves as one"
True, rhythm also helps with breathing too - just have to watch out from op timing a couner when the arms go low
That's WASSUP!!! GET IT!!
great
"Our bodies naturally know what to do..." Especially in regards to self preservation unless we override its responses with something else.
Totally true keynote that's why it helps to get your opponent out of rhythm or learn to attack them in between it
Yessir💯
Good break down
Eddie is the man!!
True Dat!
Damn this is dumb simple but it works! Great job
I wish more people would use concepts to teach instead of specifics
This reminds me of my coach! Sparring Is all fun and games until he starts to bounce and then it just hurts!
Art
💯💯💯💪
Biggest thing here is remaining calm
DOPE
This is how you get timed. Stop moving your hands as much
I Want to learn how to throw them calf kicks 🤔 it looks so painful
Awesome! he's so cute and dangerous!

Now after watching this video, I’m ready for UFC. How do I apply?
Taking a leg kick by those trunks would be a death wish
move fluid
Serious question? Doesn’t rocking telegraph where your arms, legs bodies going to be? I used to do some combat sports and was always taught never do anything repetitive in a way where the opponent could time when to attack. Again I’m not a Muy tai fighter things may be different.
eyyyyy eddie! One of the best Muay Thai coaches I've ever had
Rhythm stepping is giving your opponent easy timing to strike.
What is told old to learn muy tia please let us know
He thicc, boy!
I like your character in the Mayans mc
Looks easy when i hear
Almost like a very subtle version of ginga of capoeira, or that thing yhey do in taekkyeon
Does not skip leg day.
Being relaxed in shadow boxing, that's easy ))
You're telegraphing tho.
You don't even understand what telegraphing is bruh, he's literally a Muay Thai world champion
You are also teaching your opponent to time you and counter
You clearly know more about Muay thai than the world champion level fighter.. getting a rhythm is the most basic aspect of fighting efficiently
Bro I’ll time you so easy
Lmao.
Have you seen this kid fight?! I don’t think so.
@@BM-of6dg my point is you have to switch up your rhythm. You can’t just keep moving back and forth like that the whole
Time. Can get hit super easy
Of course he knows that
Seriously? If that's true, get on it! Get that match set up, or hire a manager to do it!! If you can't find a manager that can set it up, maybe reconsider.
Folks know who he is, he's relevant... I don't think you are. Beat him an you will be, or at least on your way(depending on when the fight happens.)
If you don't make your name soon, that comment will be a monument to your ego, and mark you as a joke.
No disrespect. Just real talk
I hope that's not the case. Looking to see you fight, please post your fights, or where we can catch them. Can't wait to see that timing!
You do understand that him being so relaxed makes it even more difficult to see his timing. It is much easier to read fighters that tense their body before attacking
Body Mechanic’s
Gotta tip toe though that makes it harder
GOD IS GOOD REPENT DIOS TE AMA REPIENTE DIOS VIENE GOD IS COMING 🙏🙌💕 AND BE BAPTISED Y BAUTISMO
Nice hair
The problem with that rhythm is your opponent knows your exact next move and he times his left hook directly into your left temple…
No way bruv
Your body mechanics ganna let you get hit with this left hook
Aww bro your long hair you're so pretty ! Bible says long hair is a SHAME to a man .
Muy buen video pero puedes traducirlo al español porfavor o poner subtítulos en español para poder entender .
wouldn't that make it more predictable where you're coming from?
Muy bueno...pero podrían traducir al español...trate de entender lo más que puede no se inglés...desde ya muchas gracias y saludos cordiales desde ARGENTINA
Will be fine if you're fighting beginners. Less fine against someone good enough to catch your movement rhythm and take advantage of it.
Or, I think it's aimed at beginners or non-athletic people like myself. Basic mechanics of movement is still something I'm trying to get right. As you develop your technique, you can eventually focus on the gme aspects of muay thai, like evasion and having a confusing rhythm.
@@rohitchaoji I dunno, I feel like it's better to just learn the right way from the get go. Otherwise it's just a bad habit you have to un-learn later. I see a lot of people revert back to the rhythmic up-down as soon as they get tired or frustrated, and it has a very specific look to it. Experienced opponents can recognize it in one or two seconds, then attack on the next up-movement. It's better to learn early to keep movements sharp, quick, and off-beat.
@@L1Run You're right. I've experienced this in sparring. Once I'm tired I default to very predictable movements.
Eddie is not saying to use this approach in this manner whilst fighting. It is training concept designed to help you find your own rhythm and develop a better understanding of your body. When you master your own flow and rhythm in a relaxed state, you are in a much better position to be able to miss beats, feint, speed up, change stance etc. Thus, creating predictability in yourself, allows you to create constant unpredictability for your opponent.
@@warriorcollective That's what I thought too. I'm a beginner and even basic things like coordinating my arms and legs were not "intuitive" to me. I'm a desk jockey for a living, so have stiff muscles and below-average coordination, and practicing movement this way at least gets me to where the average athletic person is, in respect to kinesthetic awareness.
He looks goofy🤷🏾♂️
Tompo
Alittle stiff brother.
Don't look relaxed at all
True, but you don't want to be easily figured out
In order to be unpredictable to an opponent, you first have to train full control of yourself. Rhythm and relaxed flow such as shown by Eddie here help an athlete understand their own movement. As a result, the athlete is then more able to skip beats, change the rhythm, feint etc. Co-ordination is quite the thing to be able to fully master
guardia de codos abiertos 👎
🤣
