I'm not a psychologist but it seems like some sort of dominance is established by the people sitting down on the couch. They are always the last three and they basically end up choosing who will be out next.

It’s interesting that you point that out and I’ve just noticed that, it’s probably because there’s two couches, one for staying in and one for sitting out when you get voted out, so anyone not sitting on the original couch to win the money, looks more vulnerable to kick off, there is definitely some sort of psychological effect going on here
Edit: I had a thought, maybe the people on the group identify with eachother as a form of social support, they share one thing in common which is sitting on that couch so they feel they are less vulnerable due to that couch being the main one to STAY on to progress through the rounds
that's interesting - would be cool to see maybe without the couch. To add I think the couch gives some powers - the people sitting don't really look and pay attention to those standing behind making it easier to boo them. I worked health insurance and sadly they do make you wait for dentures and glasses. if you had just gotten them sometimes they make you wait a year 3yrs or sometimes even 4yrs to get them again.

As a person who has previously suffered from mental health. When I go for some "me time", there are plenty of places I could go. But the important thing about these places isn't how glamarous they are or what part of the world they're in. It's the feeling of peace. You could find peace in literally any place in the world. Sometimes, not always, I find that others who suffered with me weren't surrounding themselves with positive people or engaging in experiences they've never tried before.
I remember I was in college (UK) and i'd have 0 friends that I had made in my 2 years of studying. So, when i'd feel like things are a bit much. I'd go to the beach (500 meters away from campus) and slap some chill music that I like. I even started playing more sports than I usually do and eventually I just got happier as time came by.
If you think of the way your feeling and compare it to the phrase "you are what you eat" and apply it to fit the parameters of mental health, you'll find yourself picking up on these things more. If you surround yourself with negative energy, people, experiences as opposed to positive ones, it's going to be tougher to get out of that hole.

I’ve noticed a pattern with these types of videos. It’s always the last 3 people who are the shittiest ones and still end up getting money.
