This is fantastic , any vintage Rafferty is priceless. Johnny's Song was orginally a Stealers Wheel track and subsequently was done again by Gerry on his 1980 album Snakes and Ladders.

"High Fashion Queen" is new to me but sounds classic Gerry, even has that great saxophone. Miss you, Gerry. Rest in paradise. God bless you.

"High Fashion Queen" was written by Gram Parson and Chris Hillman and it was first performed by the Flying Burrito Brothers. My favorite version is on a tribute album for Parsons, Return of the Grevious Angel.

Great clip! Very 70s power pop here. Kind of surprised Gerry Rafferty hasn't had the sort of respectable second career as elder statesman of pop like Big Star, the Raspberries, and even the Cars and Journey. Gerry is just sort of overlooked.
