- Heritage Audio's Motorcity Equalizer is a faithful replica of Michael Brauer's legendary Motown EQ, originally designed at Detroit's "Hitsville" Studio for his personal use. The clever passive 7-band design uses no less than 21 inductors and 21 tone capacitors (3 each per band), made exclusively for Heritage Audio and matching Brauer's values to 1% tolerances. The chosen frequencies - 50Hz, 130Hz, 320Hz, 800Hz, 2kHz, 5kHz, 12.5kHz - were carefully selected for their musicality, making it quick and easy to get great sounding results with any source.
As usual with our demo videos, no talking, just audio, so you can make up your own mind.

My favorite instrument through this EQ is the kick drum. Sounds perfect and PUNCHY.
Vocals ?
Sorry, we didn't include vocals in this one!
Everything is just louder. Next time adjust the gain.
