Agreed. The solar panel section was my primary interest-- but it was short, lacking in detail, and the Spanish instructions not translated although the video is in English. Like the poster just didn't bother to clarify what was going on. (We saw that in several clips, ie, "What did they just do there?" No explanations.)

As a tile installer, that "coin trick" is the absolute worst way to have that crack and fall over time. rather than embedding it into the wall tile for support as its supposed to be, everytime they put even a little weight those quarters will wear at it because silicone is stretchy and will move slightly everytime. will just crack and fall and eventually be a repair bill

It's surprising how bad a lot of these are as suggestions.
    1. The pallet, okay so it's not really that bad in some situations, but it is probably the most material you could use to hold those tools and therefore not great, but go for it if you like it.
    2. If sanding blocks are your thing, great, but look up the tri-fold method. I've found this simple method that requires no block works just great for any hand sanding that you are going to do. It seems to work better and be less wasteful than blocks anyway.
    3. The tape/paint trick looks great until you see how much paint is in the channel afterwards. I'm pretty sure there's more paint in the channel by at least x2 than if you had not used the tape, which makes it a pretty sad hack.

Repairing the sidewall of a tire with those plastic screws they showed... is a horrible idea (I'm a ASE Mechanic). It'll flex too much, heat up and stretch then your tire opens up like a zipper.

    • @MrMash-mh9dy

Once when I was in my teens, I had the sealer from the plug kit but not the punch and ream so I used a small drywall screw and it held until I got rid of the car a couple years later. That was on the belt though, and the risk was less of a blow-out. On any vehicle at speed, a full sidewall blowout can lead to serious injury, especially in bad conditions. You are surely right.

But I would like to add that it will most likely get you a few miles if you're careful and keep it slow. But, if you do try this, DRIVE LIKE IT'S ABOUT TO EXPLODE! I've seen similar several times and it can be successful but is incredibly stupid.

I am almost certain, it is pointless to pull off a rear lamp housing on a car like that since the fasteners for the new one are on the inside. You would remove the interior panel, which is usually accessible, and then remove the old fasteners. To install you'd just do the reverse with the new lamp housing. All these tools really did with tape was take a busted-up lamp and bust it up more.

At 6:30 when you have such a horribly placed pipe like that, there is a thread sealant paste that comes in tubes like toothpaste tubes. Just don't mistake it for toothpaste whatever you do!! Apply a light coating to the exterior threads of the pipe with the male end. I will not get into the water or clog things if you don't make a mess and it is sold for plumbing too. Just use that instead of doing some sort of "life hack" to get into a difficult corner. It only costs a few dollars and you get nearly 2 ounces. This stuff will last a DIY home user a long time. I am not here to promote any brands and that is why I did not mention any. Just look in the plumbing section of your favorite store or plumbing supply store if you live near one (again I did not mention a specific one of either). This stuff is also not going to glue the joint and that way you can undo it in the future if you ever need to. If it does glue the joint you apparently did not get the kind of stuff I had in mind and that is not my fault!!

I watched the whole video to see what the stacked plastic bottles was about and you didn't tell us, I gave you a thumbs down because of that.

Dude no, As a locksmith do not do that stupid shit with the pen. Maybe it works, but 90% chance all you do is melt plastic into your keyway that now needs to be dug out. Superglue also does not work. Take it to a locksmith before you fuck it up worse. I promise you it's cheaper before you add superglue or plastic.

It was a very new lock, now that I think about it. The scam to the trick. Yeah, I have some real issues with some of these from what I have background in too.

it would have been nice if you had explained anything to do with the coke bottles on the roof...what was it supposed to do...how did they make it...anything like that. your pictures weren't worth even a few words.

I gather it's a solar water heater, but it's really not at all clear. Helps if you can read the text I guess, but not much.

    • @marsogreen2411

yes plus it's a terrible idea to build a hot water solar accumulator that will never work anyway, and probably hurt someone from splashing hot water down the roof.

  • @RandomNexus
    @RandomNexus Před 3 měsíci

Why wasn't the Spanish (I think?) on the 'solar panel' segment translated? Why bother putting it in here while the rest of the video's in English? Very frustrating! Many of these ideas are good, though. I don't want to frequent a channel that clearly doesn't care if followers can follow their videos.
