kid buu was the definition of "what if villains dont talk?" they get right into business
One thing people never ask: was Kid Buu actually fighting at full power vs. Goku? Seemed like he was playing the whole time
short answer: Goku doesn’t tell kids what to do unless he’s about to fight at a level that destroys a planet
Kid Buu was just stronger than Goku. Its that simple. This is the same creature that pushed back a spirit bomb with everyone's ki and life force within it.
I wondered why didn't Vegeta grab anyone before they teleported, it's crazy how he was mad at Goku in the next scene 😂
Yes this is filler, but Goku turned SSJ3 instantly against Super Buu, so it's not like he didn't have "enough time". At least by the anime's logic. Manga-wise it makes more sense.
I always assumed that Goku didn't have enough time to power up and either deflect the blast or catch it send it backat Kid Buu in classic Goku fashion.
Why couldn't Goku stop Frieza from blasting Namek? Popping into SS3 instantly =/= generating sufficient power and dealing with such an attack when it's not what the heroes are expecting.
To me its cuz ss3 goku is equal to kid buu not stronger so he cant just push it back. Vegeta stopped the attack that was only meant for destroying the earth but kid buu made the next one overkill so it specifically couldn't be stopped. If Goku went instant ss3 (we know he can as he has several times before) then fired a full power kamehameha to push back the ball then the result be a stalemate or goku losing from stamina problems. And both options end with earths destruction
Because he was weaker than kid buu pretty easy
There seems to be a difference between gathering energy to destroy and focusing energy during a fight.
Because he didn't have enough time to prepare for a world shattering energy ball of that magnitude. It wasn't really worth trying either since the planet was already thoroughly depopulated.
I had always been curious about this. And the dub didn't make it any easier to figure out (The dub has conflicting information during the Kid Buu fight where at one point, Goku says he can't even keep up with Buu at SS3, then later says he could have but dragged the fight so Vegeta could have a shot). So I never figured this out growing up.
I always assumed that Kid Buu just had the ability to use full power immediately while Goku needed a full minute to charge up to full power.
I would have always said he never had enough time to deflect something that big. Regardless of how strong he is or not the kamehameha takes for ever to charge and buu's attack was some what instant.
I always just assumed its cause he wasn't in ssj3 at the time; and he'd need ssj3 to deflect it? And I think it's safe to say he didn't have time to transform given he didn't have time to teleport.
People saying that Goku didn't have time.... if he had the power to stop the attack, he would've had time. The thing he didn't have time for was to grab Gohan and the others. He only had enough time to grab Dende and Mr Satan and even then he didn't think he was going to make it in time. Then KibitoKai turned up and teleported them to the Kai world.
The Pimp Named Slickback reference😂😂😂
Awesome content . Keep it up mike 💪🏼 simple and effective
I love how you start with the internet argument either for or against something and then go into the analysis of it. At least in this video, it was very smooth
