Whatever you charge for your work, it can't be enough. I love watching people who are good at their craft do what they do. I have gotten a lot of joy watching your work. Thank you!
One of the best swords I have seen made. Have watched this video twice and loving the craftsmanship you have put into this. Hopefully one day I could hold that beautiful piece of steel.
I just started working on my second knife, and it's hard to find the words to describe how inadequate I feel right now, LOL. This is absolutely amazing work.
"According to legend, the founder of House Dayne tracked a falling star to the mouth of the Torentine, and Starfall was then constructed where a magical stone was discovered. The greatsword Dawn was forged from the heart of this fallen star and has possibly been wielded by Daynes for ten thousand years. The sigil of the Daynes depicts the white sword and falling star. The blade is as pale as milkglass, unlike dark Valyrian steel, but is similar in strength and sharpness. Unlike other houses who have ancestral swords, House Dayne does not pass its sword from lord to heir. Only a knight of House Dayne who is deemed worthy can wield Dawn, and the Sword of the Morning is envied throughout the Seven Kingdoms. The last known user of the sword was Ser Arthur Dayne, a chivalrous knight in the Kingsguard of Aerys II Targaryen. The Smiling Knight of the Kingswood Brotherhood tried to claim Dawn from Arthur, but the robber knight was killed by the Sword of the Morning. After Arthur died in combat at the tower of joy during Robert's Rebellion, Eddard Stark rode to Starfall to deliver Dawn to Arthur's sister, Ashara Dayne."
@@bryanjames7528 do you mean Ser Arthur? If so why are you phrasing it like it’s been centuries since someone has wielded the sword Dawn. It’s only been roughly 15 years since Ser Arthur died
Hey, thank you so much. When youtube suggested to me a blacksmith I was like, wtf. Suddenly i am your fan and watching your videos daily. So calming and nice. BTW your blacksmithing skills are exceptional but I have to give props for video editing too. Thank you again.
You really should private auction these; they are true masterpieces! You wouldn't have to do anything else in your life but build whatever you want and when you want. :)
Well the sword in the show isn’t actually dawn so... and the show didn’t create the sword it’s from the books and the blade is suppose to be pale as milk
@@juniornisthal2216 exactly why I said OG sword from the "show." Regardless whatever the books described, this particular sword & design is "Dawn" aka Sword of Morning in the "show." Meanwhile in the novels, Dawn supposed to be more of a two handed greatsword, just like "Ice."

Graham Wilson it’s an excerpt from the books lol
Magical stone = meteorite
After Ser Dayne's death no other knight has wielded Dawn
