Expectations. Yeah, I just luv em’.
So, I’m retired US Army and spent most of my time in SF. After I retired I did security contracts in Iraq. In a ten year period I spent over 7 years boots on the ground there until I hung up my gear and came home. So I’m at the local Starbucks one morning and a guy sees the back of my vehicle-that had veterans plates, a couple of prominent SF stickers, and a political sticker expressing my view of a presidential candidate. He walks up to me and calls me, “COWARD!” Yep, he wanted to fight me cuz’ he didn’t much like that I didn’t like the guy he wanted to be president. And a guy like me with my background is supposed to like the guy he wants to be president. And because I didn’t-he wants to fight me. And he called me a coward two more times,. There’s a pretty good chance your average civilian guy would’ve put their fist up side his jaw. But he could say this horse crap to me with impunity. Why? Because I don’t dare open that door and walk thru it. So here’s the punch line: All that time and effort I spent protecting America’s freedoms in reality entitles me to LESS freedom. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣And people wonder why I miss being in Iraq……
