  • At 2137 Mission Street - the storefront San Francisco rented for at least 43 vendors to sell indoors during the 90-day ban - we found only 10 vendors. Many of them say don't think they will be able to survive making $5-20 a day. abc7ne.ws/3T78HLc

Honestly, I like the look. But not when there are too many to allow normal foot traffic through and not when they're selling stolen merchandise. Lotsa t-shirts and other clothes with the alarm triggers or explosive ink thingies cut out (little circular holes near the bottom hem) for example.

We miss having good street vendors, but we don't miss having an uncontrollable number of vendors selling goods that were obviously shoplifted, crowding out honest vendors. The city should license way more street vendors but have some way to screen ones selling goods that were so obviously shoplifted or that came from free food banks.

Get a permit.. of course they don’t want you selling stuff in front of the retail stores to take money before anyone walks in. But don’t worry Black people to keep getting locked up get choked out for selling the cigarette but they will pass laws so illegal could be legal for the illegal to sell without a legal permit.
