Hello bhaiya I am in the 4th year in 8 sem I am from civil background , I am confused as not much companies are coming in my on campus and whatever companies are coming they are only asking for CS and it.
I just know basic c++ and till recursion only..
I am little scared and i am unable to see what should I do.
I have not done anything else just some topics till recursion only and im stuck .
Plz guide me. If you can thankyou brother
Follow this sequence:
- Learn C++ properly - STL and all.
- Study basic Data Structures and Algorithms. For this, follow the sequence given on InterviewBit, and do Leetcode/GeeksForGeeks problems of the same topic for more practice.
- Start giving Leetcode contests.
Stay consistent through all this. Don't break your streak on Leetcode atleast.
P.S: I know this question was targeted towards Fraz bhaiyya, but because he hadn't replied so i thought maybe I should help.

Sir how to be consistent with coding along with college studies when a student is not a hosteller and is spending 3-4 hrs in going to and coming back from college on everyday basis ?
Sir is it fine if I learn dsa with C programming if I have to appear for faang companies interviews? Or should I learn c++?
U can learn with C. But for interviews C++ is best becauss of STL (Standard Template Library). Most Data Structures like Stack, Priority Queue, Min Heap ,Red-Black Tree , Hash Table etc. are already a part of STL & can be directly used.

Yep. Not gonna lie, EE is damn hard tbh. Yeh toh online aa gaya sem. Isliye code karne ka time mila. Warna ek average student ko coding karne ka time hi nahi milega EE mei, it's goddamn hard aur har din padhna padta hai 4-5 hours , JUST TO PASS, for good scores, you need to rub your arse more

Currently i'm on that stage, and this is 2nd time i'm watching this video, first time i dont even start dsa just think , that one day i'll solve , and now i m doing and facing that amazing journey, and i m going to became red in codeforces, just to remined myself that in future i'll come with really good at dsa and problem solving, today is 17-sep-2023 at 9:54pm. we'll meet sooner.
