Interesting, I am not sure about one thing though. Do mutation cores increase damage in case of not mutated monsters? I thought the cores were only active in mutated operations and Crystal Hunt.
Some of them increase your normal damage, usually its written as normal shot now deal 103% dmg or somth, that means an increase in dmg

Just to point out sort of unfair match as Biot AR test should start with venom mode as it requires activation. Later game they should implement it to be auto triggered.
I agree however it would only give it a boost at the beginning of combat, once you reload once the SG will catch up and overtake quickly
So for a long battle you're gonna get better DPS with SG
