@@AstroShootingStarsthanks for your response and update, i was thinking whether to get the JB edition or this silver edition as the JB edition still needs the keyboard to adjust the settings, so its mainly the same and this silver edition is cheaper than the JB edition 😊

I'm trying to understand if Runcam Phoenix 2 can be connected directly to the FC of model MATEK F405 MINI TE with it's MENU pin, without requiring any extra components.

it can directly work with FC only if camera supports UART option for menu control. If not you need that additional bridge control as menu option of OSD is technically a voltage divider circuit which gives signal to specific action depending upon the voltage applied which is not what UART does. But what if the camera is not the UART version?
I know that there are 2 versions: one with rx and TX pins, and the other one which I have, has 2 pins of GND and Menu.
To my understanding, the RX/ TX VERSION is UART, and the other one isn't.

That is correct. So uart version with TX and RX can be controlled via uart of FC. If you have menu option then you need OSD pin on your FC to make it work. If you dont have OSD pin then you need external adaptor to convert osd control to UART.
Can we use the camera directly without any flight controller or osd by providing gnd , 5v and VIDEO out to video transmitter?
Sure it is possible to do it. You need only flight controller to either control the osd menu or add telemetry data to video before trasmitting but you can directly connect camera to vtx without issue. I hope this helps. Please stay tuned to my channel for my future videos
i use speedybee FC and have CC pin on it. but how to enter camera control menu? i have tried right yaw, but it doesn't work.
I tried the cc on my speedybee aswell and did not work. You need the separate menu board sold separately to access the menu on the goggles.
Hay bro is there a way to adjust the picture on this I tried plugging the program card and it doesn't work
HI bro I am not sure what programing card you used to control camera menu . However there are resistor based toggle buttons board that you can use to control menu option that you have on camera to chnage camera parameters. also you can use CC option if avialable on your FC to do so alternately you can use UART. please check out other cameras on my channel to see the menu board. below are some of videos I recomend
