Like, will you be pouring slab or basement foundations, or something simpler? Lol I have tons more questions... I think I heard something about an upcoming "work party"? I told my wife I was thinking about it, she ain't crazy about the idea but I feel like I gotta do something :)
Thank you. Yes, most people are camping to various degrees, RVs, tents, portable buildings, cabins. Some are doing basement foundations, I think most will go the slab route, there's one cabin on concrete sonotubes. We call it a work party but there's more emphasis on the workshops, socializing, and networking with other people interested in joining or forming intentional communities. Family-friendly event for PMA members.
The roads will be gravel. Likely some areas may get asphalt, but I imagine to asphalt all the roads out here would cost nearly 500k. Lot-owners could go in together to get their sections of road done and increasing their Capital Contribution to the LLC. Brick or stone would be beautiful, just not practical yet at this stage.
Are any of the men out there looking for wives? My daughter moved home recently. She is a beautiful, intelligent, healthy, hard working 26 year old. She bet years on her high school sweetheart, and it didn't work out. We live in rural Texas, and she feels doomed out here. She just wants a family of her own. We are White Christians, and she understands the struggle of our people. If there is a possibility of her meeting a good man out there, please let's get in contact.
Yes, she could reach out to the RTTL women's group. If she joins the Actual Workers group on Telegram she can post an invite request for the women's group they can do some matchmaking.
@@yiani31 Where is your brother? She says she wants to avoid cities (obvious), bitter cold (she lived in St. Paul), and wants to be somewhere she can grow much of her own food (not in the desert).
Yes, make ponds. Fish is a great and easy to raise source of protein.
