    Heya! 👋 Hope you are as excited as me for the last episode🤙The night on the campground in Serbia was one of the nicest and most unexpected nights of this tour.
    Tell me about your favourite night out! ⛺

    5:15 that is because big amount of people from eastern Serbia is working in Austria and visiting its homeland only for hollydays 😀
    I would recommend that next time you consider visiting the city of Novi Sad. We have over 100 km of bike paths, with an additional new 40 km currently under construction. Our section of EuroVelo 6 from Novi Sad to Čelarevo is one of these bike routes I mentioned. You can cycle along the Danube River and enjoy the view of the Fruška Gora mountain on the opposite bank, all without of car traffic around 😉

Thank you so much for entertaining me for so a long time. Also in this episode there were so beautiful pictures from the river Danube …

    11:35 so typical, even in a short tunnel there will be that one car that has to take over you right in the middle of the tunnel

    • @UntraveledRoadsOfficial
      @UntraveledRoadsOfficial  Před rokem

      haha yes, and the champions are the ones that take over in the middle of the tunnel before a curve so that the driver has optimal sight 🙏😆

      @@UntraveledRoadsOfficial the other law is, when you are cycling a quiet road, and you finally see a car coming in the opposite lane, then another car appears behind you and they pass each other exactly next to you

    I usually call the authorities 112 ( Romania) when traffic lights do not work. I sugehs you do the same, for ex that button before the tunnel.

    wow these trucks and some cars were passing by you very close and fast. Dangerous... Can you tell me which part of Serbia or route was worst when it comes to safety and traffic density?

    • @UntraveledRoadsOfficial
      @UntraveledRoadsOfficial  Před rokem +1

      Actually Serbia was really not that bad, Romania was by far the worst. I think it is safe to assess the traffic. Sometimes it is safer to not ride as right as possible on the line, since in Romania I constantly got cut if I was to right. If I was more riding in the middle I annoyed them but at least they were not hitting me. Overall I think Serbia is way easier to ride along the EV6

      @@UntraveledRoadsOfficial Cool. Sounds nice since I want to ride from Austria, Hungary to Serbia and back. Romania is not on my list so far

      @@davidpitterson933 I see! If you have time I would ride from Austria along the Danube towards Slovakia and Bratislava, and then follow the Danube on the Slovakian side it is a bit better maintained and Komarno (the city) is at least in my opinion nicer on the Slovakian side. Safe travels!

    Why did you stop when dogs attack lol

    • @UntraveledRoadsOfficial
      @UntraveledRoadsOfficial  Před rokem +2

      Learned it during the tour. If you continue biking the dogs keep chasing you, to disrupt the Prey drive I make a hard break, which scares or irritates the dog, and then act as if you would fight him, this usually makes them back off. If they don't back off, pretend you fight them (eg: act as if you would pick up a stone; only once or twice I had to use the spray) - Lastly, if I keep biking the chances are high that the dog can sprint as fast as I would bike, on the bike I am not able to defend myself against an attack, so not stopping is too dangerous for me. Fun fact: Actual street dogs never attack.
