Hi, I'm Georg, an adventure traveler looking to discover the world by traveling slow, staying away from over-touristy highlights, enjoying the natural beauty of the places I visit and understanding their culture through the eyes of the locals.
I started traveling full time in 2021 and since then I fell in love with traveling slower, especially during my bikepacking tour across Europe. Now I am on a quest to conquer the highest peaks of Europe, travel only by public transportation, promoting sustainable travel and having local experiences in between.

Brewmaster Explains Why Czech Beer Is THE BEST
Czech beer is by far one of the best beers in the world. It has the same 4 ingredients as all the others, but what makes it so unique?
When I came to the Czech Republic I was determined to discover the secrets of the Czech lagers, the Czech pub culture, and unique brewing and pouring techniques.
I set on a beer tour of my own, trying different beers in different Czech pubs around Prague, but I didn’t find what I was looking for, so I went straight to the source: Brevnov monastery brewery, the oldest brewery in Prague and in Czech Republic to learn about the history of brewing beer and to Dva Kohouti, a brewer with a tap room in the center of Prague to learn all about how to pour the perfect Czech pilsner and some unique ways of doing it that COMPLETELY CHANGE the taste it has!
Big thank you to Dva Kohouti and Brevnov monastery brewery for teaching me about the beer culture and history of Czech Republic.

The Highest Mountain in Czech Republic: a Fantastic Journey to the Top

In this video, we're going on a fantastic journey to the top of the Highest Mountain in the Czech Republic! Hiking Snezka in winter is one of the popular activity in the Czech Republic and the first summit of the Peaks of Europe Despite not being very high, I had a lot of fun hiking Snezka, and the last meters of snow and the return in the snow and rain made it a little bit more challenging. Sure, climbing the highest peaks of Europe may not be a unique accomplishment in and of itself, but the way I plan to do it is what makes me dou...

One of the most spectacular remote villages is hidden between steep ravines in the heart of Madeira Island. The Nun's Valley (Curral das Freiras in Portuguese) is a special place with an interesting history and the best place to start many spectacular hiking trails. What I love about the island is the multitude of landscapes and climates you can experience in one single hike and this last 2-day...

Arriving HOME after 5 months CYCLING across EUROPE | Bikepacking Europe Ep. 19

The last week of cycling across Europe started in Romania. Leaving Timisoara was as scary as cycling in the city and I couldn't have left Romania without another dog attack, haha. As soon as I crossed the border to Hungary I felt relieved to escape the crazy drivers and dog attacks. It is weird, it is just a border, a small piece of land, but lots can change by crossing it. Every day during thi...

I was planning to cycle along the Danube, following the EV6 in Romania, but after fearing for my life on the road and because the trail didn't go that close to the Danube, I decided to cross once more to Bulgaria and continue my bike tour there and then to Serbia. I will have to return to Romania, but until then I hope to enjoy the trail a bit more and and escape the crazy Romanian traffic. Cyc...

Before leaving Greece I had to make one of the HARDEST DECISIONS of this tour. My plan was to cycle all the way to Istanbul, but as I was getting closer and closer, winter was slowly approaching. After cycling in Bulgaria for a bit and taking too many trai...

Cycling in Greece is coming to an end. But Greece didn't disappoint, not even in the end. Despite not being that well known among bikepackers, I found here, in the north of Greece a lot of things to see: the lion of Amphipolis, byzantine castles and the amazing archaeological remains at Maroneia. It was also the first time me seeing a Pelikan, as well as many other beautiful creatures in Nestos...

I usually call the authorities 112 ( Romania) when traffic lights do not work. I sugehs you do the same, for ex that button before the tunnel.
does anyone know why this dude stopped uploading? is he ok?
I used to be wine snob. I am becoming a beer snob.
Man I really need to get on with a Czech beer vacation, just visit the country, experience the beer and food, amazing.
You were lucky. Im glad i saw this. Any off the beaten track trail i consider doing in Maseira will be researched by contacting the appropriate authorities before attempting. It was an adventure for sure but i think there are other trails far more beautiful
"Good morning!" says the CZcamsr from bed, casually showing off his bare chest and manly tattoo. He's just filming himself naked in bed by chance, because he just happened to be in bed when he started filming.
Albanias trash is unbelievable , the waterways etc what is wrong with a people!
sad you been disappointed,,,but but pass that tunel from rabacal ,uou would found few options for different trail and go around from the hunters..sad you don t know the trails. from other site ( calheta,, hope you explore in the future more that area ,
well you been all day walking and your body been lost big time calories and can be trick ,,in my opinion as experience person you can get taxi and refuel your body and come back same point you finish tomorrow...no point using your brains, joints and muscles in that search for water as you make yourself worse,, you can camping and fresh in the morning start and continue .( but will get extreme cold in night time..).you should always have some hot chocolate and couple cans of tuna ..make in count just for emergency ..and not your meal for the day..
wow amazing hiking you did, am glad you come safe to home,, happy you don t continue some hiking as so dangers if you don t no really the trail.. done wll that trails many ways and i can say you did well a person don t live there.. still lots to explore the from folhadal and seixas as is few hide trail is hard to spot ...hope you enjoy your holidays and come back for your adventures in Madeira
I'm planning a hiking trip this month and intend to climb up to a volcano and then walk 10k
Hope you gonna enjoy it 🤙👍
What time of the year would you recommend to go bike packing in Greece? Would august or July be too hot for a novice like me
It really depends on your body and your self but August can be quite brutal heat wise. I’d recommend to protect your skin with some biking rashes to ensure no sunburn. Usually the heat feels less on the bike when you ride along the coast
Super 👍 j y vais fin avril je suis impatient. Heu c'est quoi la marque de votre jolie montre gps ? Merci.
1:51 Czech it out :D
What framesize do you have? I have also Rose Backroad CF (53cm) and it is very hard to find bags that fits for my bike.
Hi, I have the 55cm version, the bags from Apidura were fitting actually perfectly, also a friend of mine has a smaller 46cm and was able to fit the same bags (except of the saddle bag due because the saddle was mounted very low)
@@UntraveledRoadsOfficial okay! Then I'll try the 4,5L framebag! The saddlebag fits easily 👍🏻
@@Irtokarva if you go for Apidura you can check on their website wether it would fit your bike and size
I really enjoyed hearing your self-reflection and thoughts at the end of the video. Generally, the fact that you shared your emotions so openly in your bikepacking series has made your videos very relatable and they really help me to prepare myself mentally for my first solo bikepacking tour - thank you for taking us, the viewers, along on your journey. I enjoyed every video of this series tremendously!
Thank you! Really happy to read your comment, glad you enjoyed it! 🙏☺☺
Just a small detail, Gara and Jonay did not jump from the cliff, Jonay takes a branch of the very strong wood Erica arborea, sharpened with his knife to the point, which he places over his heart and Gara's heart, and they hug. tightly together for the last time
I did not know that part of the story, thank you for pointing out!
That shot at 6:44 is not Czech Republic, its Belgrade, Serbia, blok 61. The gray building is south and white is northern block 61. The camera is flying over the street Dr. Ivana Ribara.
Thanks for pointing out and apologise for the mistake, I will note it in the description of the video!
@@UntraveledRoadsOfficial If you think its necessary, but it shouldnt bother anyone, i just felt like pointing it out, i lived 150 m from that spot where drone was flying :D
A year passed by and radio silence...
Great video! I would love to join you and do some adventures together!
Nice !
🤗🙏
Planning a hiking trip to Tenerife later this month and just wanted to know how you traveled around the island to the different parks? Inspirational videos , keep it up!
Hope you will have a good time! The bus system works actually pretty well so that was my main transportation actually
Ahh yes I saw you mentioned that in one of your other videos, good to know. Also in regards to camping , did you have to get a permit ?
I missed what pump you are using?
sadly I am not sure what brand it was but it was the best investment ever
@@UntraveledRoadsOfficial You havent lost the best pump ever?! I tried to find out and I think its a toppeak morph maybe?
When the video ended I was like, what, it's over already??
😍
5:15 that is because big amount of people from eastern Serbia is working in Austria and visiting its homeland only for hollydays 😀 I would recommend that next time you consider visiting the city of Novi Sad. We have over 100 km of bike paths, with an additional new 40 km currently under construction. Our section of EuroVelo 6 from Novi Sad to Čelarevo is one of these bike routes I mentioned. You can cycle along the Danube River and enjoy the view of the Fruška Gora mountain on the opposite bank, all without of car traffic around 😉
Top video (but...sad to say; The absolutly awfull cheap auto generatet "music" you plaster all over, makes it all seem somewhat cheap and youthfull pre teen like)
Thanks for the feedback!
Everyone said to me 'just drink it, it is an acquired taste'. And I chose not to acquire it. I hate the taste of beer, but I recognise that I am in a minority. And that is just fine.
My hubby and I just found your channel. What a delight. As hikers and North Tenerife lovers, this adventure is perfect to watch. Thank you.
Welcome aboard! Thank you!!
Dark beers there are so quality and delicious..
You got that right!
I came here from mafia2 game
Well, hope it was a good transition then 👍👌
Thank you.
🙏😊
I’m not an Ales type of guy all the craft gurus swear by it but before Craft brews there were Micro brews and before that there was home brews! Ales are easy and cheap to make!
My favorite style is Lager & Pilsner Czech and small batch Bavarian Breweries are my favorite Nobody in the world has the “sauce” on how to make beer like they do! It’s not just the hops but the Yeast with their House mother leaven!
I like music in your video
Thank you 🙏
From the nothingness to the nothingness 😁 22:50
Putting on short sleeves and not sporting a base cap umder the helmet would help with the heat 😂
Haha yes the long sleeves were horrible but my skin turns color red after few minutes in the sun 😂😂
How wonderful, Namaste 🙏
Thank you 🙏
I love the part where u pack your backpack. I have now spend 3 summers, since 2021, climbing easy mountains in guided courses, with the most challanging peak being Pigne d'Arolla (3796m). And last course my guide told the entire group at the beginning of the course to unpack their backpacks and he would take everything u didn't need out. It was actually amazing to see what real mountain guides would take with them or not. Your backpack looks like its is unneccesary heavy for certain peaks, but I guess u are bringing stuff to camp with you at the moment, which you certainly not taking up to something like a Dufourspitze. Anyway lovely video. Hope to see the rest of it soon.
Bavarian beer is actually just as good if not better.
I actually know mostly only tried Witbier from Bavaria, yet
Hi, great video I did really enjoy it, that is why I want to ask if there will be more from this 52 peaks journey? (as it is already been 6 months - and if so if also the other ones from this series will come faster, as 1 video each 6 months would be 26 years :) ) Joking aside hope you did not gave up with doing the videos - I would watch them event if you did not finish all the 52 peaks!
thank you for your comment and very glad you enjoyed it ☺☺🙏 The last few weeks and months were very busy with some personal project as well as with traveling, therefore the shortage of the content. But there is a lot of content waiting to be published, the plan is to release the next episode in December and then continue on a regular basis again.
To be honest, lately it has changed to "The beer is cheaper than Coca-Cola". Since Coke is too expensive and too sugary, we rather drink beer- And yeah, I have a liter of beer in me, probably gonna do 3rd 0.5... Just how we live, we love our beer!
Awesome awesome awesome
Thank you!! 🙏☺️ glad you enjoyed it
You are awesome but it looked safer crossing where the rocks fell vs this narrow path you chose
Thank you. That’s true but I think the other route would eventually have gone worse 🫣
Im Czech too!
Thanks for your countries amazing beer then 🙏😊

Man, can I ask where do you get money for all of this?
Sure, I have a full time remote job and have no apartment where I live. For the bike tour I saved money to have around a daily budget of 3 to 7€ per day (covering food, water and accommodation (if necessary) and other expenses).
Name of your bike ?
Its the Backroad from Rose Bikes with the carbon frame
