- There is a new Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers song and never-before-seen archival footage of him and his band performing it. The song is called "Keep a Little Soul." It is the first Tom Petty music to be released since his death last October and will be part of a new 60-track boxed set called an "An American Treasure" to be released in September. Anthony Mason reports.

I like "Keep a Little Soul". Very uplifting. Tom's songs tell stories that anyone can relate to. Plus he can find 🕯️ in every situation. Thank you, Tom. You are the coolest of the cool.
Like everything he wrote, it’s a classic
50 unreleased songs!! That leaves an awful lot to still look forward to (-: American Treasure gave us a few. The Best Of Everything gave us "For Real" (which I love). Looking forward to more!

A+ it's one of my top three favorite Petty songs and that's saying a lot because they were all my favorite I miss him so freaking much
The 1995 boxed set Playback already scoured the archives. Songs like Waiting For Tonight, Ways to be Wicked are pretty fabulous and nobody knows them. IMO they should release an Overlooked album 99% of people have never heard. You and I will meet again, Makin’ some noise, Nightwatchman. Just throwing some ideas out there. The CD era is already largely gone so maybe it is too late.

You said it man ways to be Wicked is one of my favorite songs in the world of his might be actually can't pick a favorite. And you remember who sang it he wrote it for lone Justice who was opening for him that to her I can't remember the girl's name but she really nailed that song and then of course he had it on the B side or something haha didn't have besides anymore did they anyways if you haven't heard lone Justice singing it I'm going to search for it right now but hopefully it's able to be tracked down

This is the original video of Lone Justice ways to be Wicked that was a really good album too. First album By Lone Justice I think Petty probably produced it if not he had a lot to do with the mixing and the writing. I have to check out the shelters to I haven't done that yet that's just beyond that he was mentoring towards the end
