- In this weeks Semi-Live we join Brennen Nading in Iowa while he walks some private ground shed hunting during the first couple of days in March. Even though the conditions weren't ideal, he was still able to pick up some quality antlers!

I walk a lot of public land with a lot of other shed hunters I walk the goofy areas and some times it's surprising. Bucks like using cover when moving around.
That is a very good strategy. Sometimes the overlooked spots are the best.
It seems like most have dropped now. I did the same exact thing Tuesday got permission on a farm that was supposedly already walked got 100 yards from his house I found one laying in his cow pasture. This snow coming in is gonna put shed hunting to a halt real quick hopefully it doesn’t stay for to long.

Only have found 1 shed this year, and have walked all damn day for a few weeks and nothing else to show for it.

@@bpointtv Just picked up an old one.Small 4 side .That’s # 41.95 miles of walking.And man do I feel it.Have 8 matched sets so far.And they aren’t always close together.I’m talking almost 3/4 of a mile apart on a different mountain😳

Awesome bro. Been erratic here in Missouri. Got pics of bucks who lost antlers late Jan and seen some yesterday still holding both.
That’s how it was in pa to. I found my target bucks 5 point side January 6th he dropped really early. And there’s bucks still holding now and it’s march
